I got this cause I am away from my home time to time, it will go into ECO mode and use less heating oil as if I am there, it has a Home mode and a Away mode, plus I can change the temp from my cell phone, it know if I am home. It tells me the temp outside also, this is a Neat thing to do.

Had the original Honeywell Lyric, upgraded my router to a new more powerful set, and to learn that this original Lyric wasn't compatible. Thusly set out to purchase a new smart thermostat. I was aware of the Nest since the onset and heard that it was overpriced for the minimal interface and features, but it certainly has grown since then and this new iteration seems to have outpaced industrial giant Honeywell, which has led me to my new Nest. Easy install, easy setup, and when I do what to see my consumption it has a very intuitive GUI, and reports feature.

I'm lazy going up and adjust the thermostat when I was in bed. The apps comes handy and the automatic scheduled works like a charm!!! The one you saved every month will paid the thermostat.

This is awsome, easy to set up and use. WiFi is great.

Easy to install with clear instructions. It took maybe 30 minutes to get it up and running. The interface is intuitive and you have additional options to control through the Nest App and Google Hub. Also qualifies for a rebate from most Gas & Electric comapnies. I'm a big fan.

Yes, it is pricey compared to other thermostat's. I chose to relocate the wire from furnace and air conditioner to another wall, so my install took a few forks in the road. Once relocated, I had the unit up and running in no time. Loaded the apps on my phone, iPad, and wife's phone.

I have had this NEST Learning Thermostat and I can tell already it knows when I come and go, when to turn up, down, from activity and traffic patterns. It is now comfortable always. Well worth the price. I thought I could not install it but I did it myself with the simple online instructions. Well worth it. RJHamlin

Have used it 3 weeks now and I’m surprised with the ease of use and installation. The directions they give you are step by step and very simple. Plus it gives your home a bit of an upgrade as well. The app makes it easy to use. I will be adding temp sensors to it.

Minor setup issue that Nest quickly responded to with corrected setup. It has been working for a month now and the best feature is the auto away. I can track it's typical run times based on our schedule. It learned in under a week our routine which greatly helps with the auto away feature. Also love being able to turn on the heat before returning home.

This is my second Nest as I had to leave the first one in my prior home. I like that it is set and forget, but has features that can tell if you are away and allow the temperature to adjust while you are gone, further saving you money. I have no doubt that this has help us to save and is very easy to schedule.

The Nest Learning Smart Thermostat works great as a way to control the heat throughout our house from our HVAC system. Highly recommend this to others and get the Google temperature devices to ensure your house is warm during the winter and cool in the summer!

With various schedules and unpredictable Kansas weather, it seems to be having a difficult time learning what temperature to set at what time. That's okay, as it is very convenient to pull up the app or use our smart speakers to adjust the temperature when we are not near it.
