This product has truly impressed me with how far technology has come. Being able to use the product and it learn you schedule when you need cooling or heating becomes an awesome feature. Plus if its too cold when you are laying in bed not having to get up to turn on the heat becomes a huge benefit.

We enjoy the savings and convenience that the Nest system provides. With an app to control the temperature I never have to go directly to the device to change the thermostat. It has the initiative feature to make the temperature adjustments from our patterns of behavior. Love it!!

I really like the Nest Thermostat so far. I like being able to adjust the temperature of my phone. I also like to be able to see how much energy I've saved and how often my air conditioner has been running. My only complaint would be that the Nest isn't very consistent. But neither is my work schedule which is probably part of the problem. My schedule switches back and forth between dayshift and nightshift. Sometimes I'll be in bed and the thermostat is set to 69 degrees. Later on I'll wake up to the thermostat making the house hotter to 73-74 degrees even after I manually set it to 69. I don't get that yet. But overall, I really like this product.

If you want the best this is it. It is expensive but coming from a dumb thermostat there is no going back. The feature I find most useful is auto away. This turns off the heater or AC whenever it determines no one is home. This always us to use the AC without fear if accidentally leaving it on and getting a huge bill.

The physical installation was very easy since I didn't have a special wiring configuration situation to figure out. The app made everything a breeze. The only thing I am not sure about is the AI functionality, it has not been adjusting the temprature and the data logs do not indicate it has been learning. So, why did this digital thermostat cost 3 times the amount of a basic digital unit? I'll wait and see for now.

Recently purchased and installed the Nest thermostat and so far it's great. Installation was straightforward and I found the Nest app very helpful during the installation process. Haven't had it long enough yet to determine energy saving or its impact on utility bills, but I am looking forward to tracking this.

I think the Nest is great. I had an issue with people adjusting the thermostat and I’m in and out of my house a lot. It’s great to be able to turn it on anywhere. I also like the custom screens a lot for the display to show weather outside and that stuff. What I don’t like is the learning due to how variable it is that I am home and I also have issues with being able to remotely connect to it via the app. Other than that, it’s fantastic so that drops it a star. Overall solid

I will be brief. This thermostat does what it says it will. It is very smart in learning your patterns to know when you are home to save you money. Only problem I had was when I worked from home it would turn on auto away , but that was my error for not turning that off for the day. In all a great piece of tech for any home.

This is the best Nest thermostat yet. The prior generation occasionally would loose it's connection with my router and then would show as offline in the Nest app. It was very annoying. Haven't had that happen yet with the 3rd generation Nest. The larger screen is nice too because it's much easier to read from across the room.

Got this mostly to have control of our home while traveling. Have only had for three weeks. Like the way it lowers the temperature automatically when you're away for a few hours. Had electrician install but set up was easy. Will be interesting to see how well it works when we start our travels in 2018

This THERMOSTAT I'm really happy with this purchase, it's very easy to use and having family members with disabilities this is a God sent. I'll recommend this product to all my family and friends.

Much easier to install than I expected, took less than 40 minutes including unboxing, reading instructions, mounting, wiring and setting up. Works great, very easy to see set and actual temperatures. But for us the key is the ability to monitor the temperature when we are not at home.

The Nest smart thermostat has been great addition to the home. I love the fact that I can view and change the temperature from the comfort of the couch or bed. I like the fact that I can set a schedule and forget about it. I haven't taken advantage of the "smart" aspect of the thermostat yet. I also paired it with the new temperature sensors to use the information specifically from the room that I want to cool. I really can't imagine going back to the old school thermostats.

It took me about 15 minutes to install and program the first one, liked it so much to be able to control the temperature from the smart phone App that I bought a second one since I have 2 zones. It comes with a mounting pad if you need to hide the space of the old one, no need to buy additional parts.

We just installed it yesterday. The directions were clear and easy to understand. I set it up fairly quickly and have never had experience with this kind of installment before. Love the option to control the temperature when we are out of town for guests that we have staying in our basement apartment.

Caught on sale for 189 w/ googlr mini included. So I decided to Upgrade from Nest E to take full advantage of the new 2 stage system. Simple plug and play install. 2 stage capability allows the nest to choose which fan speed is necessary to meet the temp needs of the home.

I love the Nest product lineup but the 3rd Gen Learning Thermostat might be the best of all their products. Highly recommend to anyone looking to move toward a connected home. The product is great, the app is great AND there are a ton of 3rd party apps that work with Nest while integrating with other connected home technology.

I've had many different thermostats but this is my favorite. Definitely better than Ecobee and Honeywell. My recommendation is to only run these if you have a Common (C) Wire. "Power stealing" can cause issues such as shorting out your circuit board on your HVAC. Nest has excellent customer service if you run into problems.

Very easy to install. The app works flawlessly but you can get confused with the many features this thermostat provides. I dont like the fact that it complains the internet connection is not stable and the thermostat wont recognize "away" status. I find that wrong since I have the nest indoor and outdoor cameras and they turn on automatically everytime we leave the house, so not sure why does the thermostat complain. Shoutout to the customer service. Very prompt in replying to emails and easy to chat with

Not sure about any energy savings, yet, but this is definitely more attractive than my old programmable thermostat! Installation was relatively easy and I love being able to "Okay, Google..." to change the temperature!
