I especially liked that the thermostat can be combined with an Amazon Echo and Dot's to control the thermostat from all locations of the house. This is a really pivotal piece in home automation uses and so easy to setup.

My husband installed the Nest and it was very easy to do. Also the program display is so easy to operate. I still need to set it up on my phone to see how it displays there. So far we are happy with our purchase

My thermostat worked fine but I wanted a thermostat that I could control with my phone from anywhere being connected to wifi and the nest app. It was easy to install for me and serves my purpose.

it was time to replace thermostat and Nest was a great choice, it learns how we like the house temperature throughout the day and its easy to control remotely via cell app or on device panel. Very easy to install.

I can honestly say without a doubt that this product is worth every dime it costed. Setting up was easy as well as downloading the app. It doesn't get any easier, you can go through the programming process or just let Nest do it's thing by learning your routine. Either way you can't go wrong. Because of my family's irregular routine I went ahead and did the weekly programming but, it's definitely great to use the app to regulate the temperature whenever no one is home and the system is still running. I simply just hit the "away" option and the system turns off until it is required to start cooling again. Overall, I have no regrets and that $100 rebate from the gas company definitely helped in deciding to buy. Highly recommend!

This is the ultimate thermostat. Connects easily to Google home and you can change the temp with your voice or by the app. Great product and easy to install.

Work well. Had to go through and change several setting that were set by default, like ECO and Away settings. Other than that, works great

I purchased a 3rd generation Nest thermostat and installed it. I had one issue with this. To charge its batteries, the Nest needs a C (common) wire hooked up; otherwise it tries to charge itself whenever the heating or cooling system is running -- the only time current is passing through it. When I hooked one of my Nests up, it said it needed to charge its batteries, and even though my house had no need for cooling or heating, it turned my HVAC on for hours to charge its batteries. I researched, found out what the problem was, and hooked up a C wire (luckily my HVAC controller had a place to hook up a C wire and my thermostat wires each had three extra wires in them). Good luck to anyone without an extra wire to use.

I bought the Nest thermosat from Best Buy two weeks ago. Now I can control my house temp. with my mobile phone through Nest thermostat. I don't need to access to the panel on the wall which is in downstaire.

This is the best Smart Thermostat out there. You won't be disappoint. It can help you save money in the long run.

I have had a previous nest at my old house and loved it. Bought this and had to return it since it did not have enough ports for aux devices like humidifier. Like it for basic setups but not complex systems

A coworker recommended the Nest thermostat to me even though I had no intentions on purchasing one, on seeing the specifications, all the great functions and the great look, I was convinced on getting the Nest and it looks great.

This thermostat is amazing. It's easy to install, as it provides all of the required documentation to turn of the power, remove your current thermostat, and install this new Nest. Once installed the setup instructions are provided directly on the face of the unit. You turn the outer rim surface to rotate to the various settings, then touch the face of the unit to enter the settings for that particular category.. That's it. I've only had the unit for about a week now, so can't tell you if I'm saving at the moment. But, do know that it's easy to reset the termperature, simply by turning the outer rim. The unit also comes with it's own application, so that you can change temperature directly from your phone. Hope this helps.

I love nest! My favorite part is walking or hang out outside and turn on ac in outside on the way to go back home! when I get in, it is nice and perfect temperature! Also I can control in my bed too :)

Good for my new AC System, it came shortly after so the I had to install myself which was realitively easy but had to work around the App to make it work. Takes some getting used to but i love making my home smart and this is a great edition to that and im looking forward to a smaller energy bill!
