Works as advertised plus more like learning patterns and detailed usage. With the app you can take control. I also installed myself. I have wiring experience. Instructions were detailed and presented well in the box. I really like it so far.

Bought this for Father's Day gift for my husband. He loves that he can control the temp from his phone at any time or location. Its a must have these days! Plus it saves energy and our electric company gave us a rebate.

It's been up for a few weeks and has started to learn our patterns. It's easy to use and seems to keep temperature very steady. Hoping that my electric bill will start coming down but have not had it long enough to see any results yet.

The Nest Gen 3 Thermostat was easy to install (no C wire needed) and easy to set up. Would definitely buy this all over again and recommend it to anyone looking for a smart WiFi thermostat!

No matter who owns or operates Nest (Google currently), their products are rock-solid and are extremely smart. Easy setup, quality metal construction, and great functionality make this the top choice in the smart thermostat market. If there was one thing that I wish would change, is the silly round design and UI. It works, but everyone else’s screens on nearly every other device is rectangular.

The best smart thermostat on the market. Easy to configure, easy to use and hard not to love. Definitely worth the price especially when you want to create a smart home with easy functionality.

This item will hopefully help save energy during the summer while I'm away, but the best feature that I have used so far it the app. If I get too warm during the night or too cold in the morning I can simply use my phone to adjust the temp without getting out of bed. Worth it.

Its great to have a thermostat that you can adjust with your phone or the google hub rather than an old one that had to constantly be adjusted

I had the Ecobee at my last place. In comparison, I’d say they are on par, with the Nest with a slight edge. I’d personally get whichever one is cheaper at the time of purchase.

I had a hard time trying to decide on which smart thermostat I wanted to go with. After having this product for almost 6 months I can definitely say I'm happy with my decision. My electric bill has gone down significantly and this product is extremely easy to use and set up.

The Nest thermostat has been a great addition to my home. It was simple to install, less than half an hour. The feature of the thermostat following your movements around the house really works. I enjoy the way it saves energy when you are not around; the away feature is a real saver.

Love this thermostat. Links in to google home seamlessly. Easy to install. It's expensive so luckily, I got a rebate from my utility.

The option to control this thing from your phone makes it totally worth it alone. We live in a condo built in 2007, but the old thermostat lagged when we turned it on. With Nest, it powers on right away. Also received $150 in rebates from energy companies. That is a huge plus.

We wanted a thermostat that we could control home or away. I believe this thermostat has saved us money on our energy bill and I like that it is very easy to change the temperature through our home speaker or cell phones.
