I love being able to monitor the temp of the house while we are out and the app works great on your smart phone. We have it set to detect when we are away so it goes into ECO mode and when we are home it knows what temp to set it too. Easy install.

I would give this 5 stars but I still have not figured it out completely. I can’t get the app to work and when I program a schedule (for when I won’t be home) to keep it warmer in the house I don’t seem to do it correctly. BUT my electric bill has gone down since I’ve installed it. Yes, I was able to instal it by myself even with knowing nothing about electricity or whatever.

Easy to install and use. Great way to regulate the heat in your house in an efficient way.

Love the Google Home app and devices. They allow me to monitor my home while home or away. The Nest thermostat is great.

My old thermostat broke down, and it was a really basic model. I was going to replace it with another, but a friend convinced me that the money spent on this would be worth it. And it is. So nice to program and see everything on my phone. It also keep you notified of how you are doing on saving energy. Also reminds me when to change filters. So nice to also control temp via the Echo device. :)

Seems to work and was easy to install. I could use better feedback via the app as to its progress in optimizing schedule. Connection via wifi to Google Home is somewhat less than optimal. I can tell it to change temperature but it didn't recognize my command to set to "Away" when we left he house. It recognized both phones leaving the house one time but not another.

This is my 2nd nest thermostat purchase. Great digital smart thermostat. It is easy to install and very intuitive to program and begin to manage the energy use of the house. I also like that I can sync multiple nests in the house together.

Love the Nest. We've had it for a month now and keep our home at a constant 68. The auto away has saved us on the heating bill kicking our system to 65 when it senses we left for the day and automatically warming when we return. I highly recommend this product.

Since we have two stories, we have two units. This allows us to control the different zones and set it while we are enroute to the house to cool or to warm it based on the need. Its great and was very easy to install.

Very useful device that has made managing my homes temperature even while away from home.

After some issues setting up the WiFi (pretty sure it was the router) the set up was seamless. I've installed a lot of these and love the nest brand.

It’s hard to believe I used to get up to change the thermostat! Now if I have a hot flash in the middle of the night I can change the temperature from my phone and when I’m cold 15 minutes late I can change it back!!

My friends all had this and spoke very highly of the item. Being able to change the temp anywhere you are, or programming it from you cell. What a simple piece of technology. Get this you won’t regret it.

Haven’t had long enough to assess energy savings, but so far seems to be doing its job. Easy installation and relatively easy to set up. If you buy it get the temp sensors for other rooms. Ability to target has been a nice addition.

This is my second set of Nest thermostats. I had the previous generation in our old house and bought a new pair for our new one. Love the ease and convenience. Look forward to incorporating into my Control4 system and using with Amazon Echo.

If you aren't familiar with this thermostat, there are two things you should know: 1) it is a Google product 2) efficiency maximization is part of its design. So, for whatever that's worth to you, now you know! I've been using it for only two weeks, and my main frustration is that I want the house cooler (Texas summer) but it has many times let the dang place warm up at the worst time, late afternoon, when letting up the gas for just twenty minutes can send the temperature climbing fast and can't recover til long after dark. Even though its dialed down. In the mean time I have learned how to turn off those features, but still have to crank it to 50 sometimes when it shows the temp 5+ degrees warmer than where it's set and it has stopped running. The other thing that it does which is rather impressive, is that it operates the condensor, the exchange, and the blower independently, thus coaxing the system to cool FAR BETTER than a basic on/off thermostat. It can really get this place chilly. And probably at a fraction the energy use. So, a mixed review - would be nice if simply did what it was asked, but it is impressive how it can really drive the system, probably saving money in the process. I would conditionally recommend it.

It was simple to install and learned our schedule quicker than I anticipated. I love that I can control it from my phone. And I love sleek look of it.

So far this product has lived up to its name! I really like that I can control it with either my phone or my Alexa. It was easy to install and pretty much walked you through the setup! Also check with you gas/electric company for rebates.

This thermostat works very very well for my home is very cool looking and can actually adapt to your living conditions. I'm still getting used to it and needs a little time for you to be home and not to be home so it can learn what temperature to be set at

Very easy and straightforward, even without reading the instructions. Very intuitive. I love the feature, that you go by and the thermostat senses you and the display turns on and shows the stats. Waiting for all the upgrades in the future!
