I made a huge gaffe doing some DIY near my Gen 1 Nest thermostat, causing it to fall off the wall and shatter, thus creating a need for a replacement. Easy choice to go with the updated Nest. This one is slightly smaller than previous efforts, but equally easy to use. We have ours interfaced with Alexa and set up some routines so it can accept verbal commands to change the temperature. I enjoy the monthly emails detailing my energy use and how it compares to my neighbors.

I love this thermostat! I will say this...if you install it yourself(as I did) it's easy to install, but if it doesn't work, you might be missing the common wire. You can install this yourself too(I did) and now my nest works perfectly!

This Google Nest Learning Thermostat was fairly easy to install and works great! Highly recommend this device.

great product, works over wifi, and is easy to set up

Followed the instructions and it was very easy to set-up. Taking a picture of your old wiring prior to removing the old thermostat makes it all very easy. The only item I had was I did not know if my heat pump was a type O or B and I set it wrong to begin. When the cold air started blowing to heat the house and hot air blowing to cool the house I did some quick research to find the issue. Easy fix and now it works great. I also set-up the proximity setting and it works really well. When my phone leaves the house the temp goes to the predetermined temp and when I return it reverts back to the normal operation.

I can be far away out of the house and can change the temperature to make our home more comfortable when we arrive. Nice, sleek, modern device to make the house look smarter!

Love it! Was extremely easy to install. Did it myself! Still learning how to use all the features. But, I really like that I can set it with Alexa or my cell phone.

I love my Nest Learning Thermostat! It is very easy to use... Some nice features are, the thermostat learns your habits so there's no need to constantly adjust it and the dial is illuminated. It's also energy efficient!

This is a money saver. You can pre set your temps, and I knows what you aren’t home and goes into an eco mode so it saves even more in heating and cooling costs.

Love this thermostat! It’s great that I can set temperature from my phone and how can set times for me by itself going off when I home or not gone. Definitely buying a second one for my upstairs!

I love the nest! It has saved me quite a bit of money over the past year. It's nice to be able to go out of town and cut the air off and be able to use my phone to turn it on so it will be nice and cool by the time I get home. My only complaint is that its supposed to know when I am home but mine doesn't, It will go into eco mode while I'm home and its annoying.

This thermostat is easy to install and connect to home WiFi network.

Very modern and sleek look. Don't know why I didn't purchase this sooner. Have not seen the change in the electric bill yet but i love the change in temp using your phone. I recommend to others.
