I have a some other Google products and this worked perfectly with the routines that I already have. I’m looking forward to seeing the savings on my Duke Power bill.

Great color, excellent thermostat that is easy to use via the app and physically by twisting the dial. Setup was easy and has been reliable so far.

My kids leave the AC on all the time. I am able to check and turn off or set an auto timers remotely or at the device. I can even set when to turn on AC or heat my temp.

Had the Gen 1 and left it at the house when we sold it, bought two of the Gen 3's for our new dual zone climate control system in the new house, works great! Like the larger screen and options of display, like weather.

Works great although the away function that works with your cell phone can be buggy if your phone goes off wifi - the Nest will default to away mode, which could be the middle of the night. I've woken up twice in the freezing cold because of this. I think this is an app refresh problem. Other than that, this device is great and starts saving you money straight away.

I am very happy with the Nest systems, but there are some flaws and that is why I cannot give it 5 stars. First, if not connected by the C-wire which is very important because otherwise you will need to change batteries and something else as I was told by the installers from best buy and they do not do that. You must get an H-Vac person to do that install which is why we went with the google nest not the ecobee which is only c-wire connected. The way to put the password is also very difficult if you have hands that don't work well, luckily I have 20 somethings with good hands and eyesight. The first generation does not work well with this one, so I will be changing them out to go together again. UGH, but the wires are there thankfully now. I do like the system as it has learned what we like i and t is wonderful.

I love everything about this thermostat. The only thing that I didn't particularly like is the learning feature, it felt like it would make it too cold when it thought it was too hot. I have been having to manually change it so that I don't get too cold. Everything else works amazingly. Integrates really well with Google Assistant.

Hard to say anything bad about this product as long as you have Wi-Fi connection you will not be disappointed.

I love all he features the Nest offers. Especially the capability to learn habits and adjust the temp when home and not home. I also like the wifi capability so i can turn the AC on before i get home to cool the house.

Overall I am very impressed with this product! All the functions on it are great! The best thing about it is being able to control it off of any smart device from anywhere at anytime.

The nest was simple to install and easy to set up. It connected easily to my network and I haven't had any issues with it after several months. I would recommend it if you are looking to buy a smart thermostat.

I love this learning thermostat! 3 days after installed, it was already scheduling the temperatures as per our preference. It has a very nice look also.

Sometimes developers are out of touch with reality and live in a closet. This is a great Thermostat with some great features and one annoying flaw. There have been 3 generations and countless software updates, but for some reason they refuse to add a real temperature Hold feature. The only way to "Hold" the temperature if you set up you own schedule is delete your manual schedule. The auto feature is good if you have a routine but if your schedule varies from week to week, or month to month the manual setup is better. If I have people over and they are going in and out of the house I want to set the A/C at a higher setting so my A/C is not constantly running. If you set a new temp it will change at the next scheduled temperature time. The room sensors are also great however you can not adjust the time windows for morning , midday, and Night. I've owned this product (1st and 2nd Gen) for 7 years the Purchase date is the most recent purchase the 3rd gen which incorporates the Sensors.

Never thought I would enjoy having this product so much. I can easily adjust the temperature from work or home or if traveling and forget to set it up or down. Super easy to use and install.

I am really enjoying the new Nest thermostat. After the first month it has done all I expected. The thermostat learns your schedule quickly and the auto-away feature only improves the energy savings when paired with your phone.

I upgraded from the 1st generation Nest to the 3rd generation. This product is very simple to install as it only took about 15 minutes start to finish. Both the app and web based platform allow you to easily program a schedule.

Decent thermostat and was easy to install. You can control it with the best app which Google will soon stop supporting.

We previously had a Honeywell at our old home. It was good and did the job, but the app was glitchy and would sometimes be down due to system updates from Honeywell. When we moved to our new home, we bought the Nest because it’s trendy and different. Honest assessment is it does the same job as Honeywell. Depending on which model and color you get, it sometimes reminds me of a door nob on the wall. Since you will control the device from the app, you normally would never walk up to the wall unit and do any adjustment. I like that it is Alexa friendly but the voice control can be tricky. I would recommend this or Honeywell. I think it depends on user preference.

This has been the center of attraction at my house, for quite some time. It looks cool, and it makes me smart. I'm not really experiencing the effect right now, and probably it will have an effect in the long run.
