Upgraded my nest gen 2 thermostat to this gen 3. Been told there wasn’t much of a difference, but my sole reason was really the nice white housing to match my home. I must say, they claim for it not to be much different, but the size is slimmer/sleeker, display is nicer, and from what I noticed the extra sensors helps a lot. It’s much more responsive to passing by or waking up to it than the gen 2. With the extra sensors, I assume it can even more accurately read indoor temp, also, as I noticed the ac running less from the logs. I purchased a different backplate from amazon to be a little different than the standard square plate it comes with and it looks great! Highly recommended.

Such a smart device! I love that it drops the temperature to eco mode when it senses that I am no longer in the house!

I love this thing. Best investment I’ve ever bought for my home. When I didn’t have it, I would forget to turn back the AC when leaving for work and my bill would reflect it. But I have this working in conjunction with my phone location to turn the AC back automatically when I leave my house. It also makes the house comfortable when I come home based off a schedule I program for it. It can work with both your location and schedule to help save money. Great product. I love it. It also will show you your weekly usage in a bar graph which is nice. Tells you your usage and the circumstances such as the weather that day that affected the usage or whether it changed due to your changes or it’s observation or your gps location.

My old Nest thermostat was faulty so I ordered this as a replacement. It was plug and play and set it up easily with no issues. The app is great and being able to control the temperature from anywhere is a wonderful feature. My AC went out recently so I can keep an eye on it which gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend this item!

This best investment I have purchases for my home and very user friendly. Very simple to install , I can't watch to see how much I save.

I saw this at a friends and after hearing so many good things, decided to buy one. I have had no regrets since, I installed it easily and I love the ability to program it to revert to a minimum temperature when no one is home. I also travelled overseas and was able to monitor my temperature remotely. Love it.

Good product. Easy to use. Love that I can control the temperature of my home from my app. It’s still trying to learn our heating neeeds but pretty cool that it adjust as necessary

Awesome features! Nice monitor and very well-made. Had an issue with my original, the software was freezing, which made it not functional at all contacted and they were able to send me a new one because of the warranty overall, it’s a great product.

This thermostat is the best for ever. I saved money the first month of using it. I like that I can add additional thermostats in different rooms that may be hotter than when the main thermostat is and use the hotter one to make sure a certain room is cooled.

Easy to use, so much better than our old one which didn’t work correctly and was a pain to operate. This is awesome! Can use right from from my phone to adjust settings, love it!!
