Programming is simple especially with the Nest app. After the first month of use, the Nest has shown to be accurate and reliable. Would have preferred a remote sensor option but definitely recommend it to anyone.

Posted .Hey there, Brian. Thanks for your feedback. The Nest Learning Thermostat changes the temperature automatically due to some factors like schedule, learned habits (auto schedule), and Home/Away Assist which makes your thermostat go to ECO mode. Thankfully, you have an option to use it as a traditional programmable thermostat, and you can manually set the temperature and create your schedules for the thermostat to follow. You can turn off the Auto Schedule feature, disable the Home/Assist, and clear the existing schedules by selecting Settings > Reset > Schedule > Reset. Excellent Product

The mobile apps are a great feature. The only issue was the installer of our heat/cooling system did not follow standard wiring colors, so an electrician friend helped me figure out the layout, For most, this would not be a problem and was no fault of Nest. Having the display light up when approaching is another great feature--our last thermostat was extremely hard to read at night. Programming the Nest took less than 5 minutes. Enjoying it,
