    This thermostat is only worth the price if you qualify for the energy efficiency rebate. Don't know why it is called "smart". The only smart thing is the price charged. Like most thermostats it can connect to wifi and other smart assistants like Alexa. One annoying feature is that it lights up every time you walk by it ..to the temp. It would be better if it could light up to time/date. Perhaps it can but seems like a lot of work to figure out how to make this happen. It comes with a white back plate that is not appealing to the eye and is not shown in most pictures.

    I haven't been using this thermostat for very long, but I really like it so far. it was very easy to set up and use.

    This may be the best purchase of the year for me. Has help me save drastically on my electric bill. I also got an additional sensor for my upstairs making it easy to keep the part of the house i need heated.
