    This is an excellent device for controlling the temperature and save money. Cons: Nest app impacts my Vivint alarm app. Problem solved once the smart option from Nest app is turned off.

    If you have the option to buy the sensors with the Nest do it. Within a week I ended up buying them and it's so amazing. I put sensors in the bedrooms and the thermostat in the livingroom. Then on the app I simply let it know which room to measure the temp from. Its perfect for me, considering one of my bedrooms gets the afternoon and evening sun so it was literally 9 degrees hotter in that room.... I could see it right there on the app!! This way I regulate the air better in the summer and the heat better in the winter. The reason I gave it a four is because the app is not very intuitive. I'm a software admin and I even had a hard time grasping the options.
