    this would be amazing for someone who has the exact same heating and cooling schedule daily but for me its a bit tough to keep it under control with my abnormal schedules and travel.

    I am frequently in and out of the house at very odd times due to work. This thermostat has automatically figured out that I have no schedule and any schedule that it would make would be useless. Thus, it just automatically kills my heat/air when it knows I am not in the house any longer and clicks it right back on as soon as I walk in. My gas provider also offered a pretty amazing rebate of $50 just for purchasing a Nest. 100% recommend.
