    Love being able to control everything through my phone and get updates monthly on efficiency. The schedule setting can have quarks so you have to monitor it.

    The Nest thermostat is very easy to install and set up. Everything is included including a nice screwdriver. Learned my preferred settings in about a week.

    Installation was not difficult but here are a few tips for other first time buyers: I watched a few YouTube videos prior to installation and they were very helpful. Find where the main breaker box is and check if labels are clear (and correct). I spent over 20 minutes to find the correct breaker switch since the labels on my breaker were wrong. I had to turn off each one and come back to the thermostat to see if the breaker I just turned off was correct one. Check the fuel type of your furnace: natural gas, oil, or electric. Have your home’s WiFi ID and password. Enjoy.

    Installation was surprisingly easy as I don't consider myself all that handy. There are still a lot of options that I have not tried yet, but look forward to it. So far so good
