Had a thermostat..It was nice...But this...This is is like taking it to another level of laziness...Not only do I not have to get up and turn it down every night It does it by itself...It's only a matter of time before the uprising lol!

My friend had Nest thermostat intalled at her house and told me about how easy it was to control the temperature of the house and the benefit of saving energy. Who does not want to save energy and money? I decided to get one for my house too. It's very easy to install and program it. So far I have been pleased with my Nest.

Love the Nest and has been a great tool to have better control over Heating/AC plus being more eco friendly. Definitely recommend. Only issue is that I wish Alexa could turn on just the fan rather than heat/cool. Can't fault Nest per se though.

The Nest thermostat is incredible. The energy savings is already putting money back in our pocket. The app provides remote access and control. In addition, the Away Assist turns the thermostats off automatically when we are not home, to provide even more energy savings. Should've done this sooner!

The nest works great! Way better than old fashioned thermostats.

Purchased a new furnace and air unit and this purchase made sense at the time. It does the job it's supposed to do but getting ALL the features to work properly is another thing all together. The "Smart" and "Learning" aspects have been suspect. Granted, over the past three months I have been on an unstable schedule so it doesn't know what to do. I have it programmed by time so that does it's job. Google voice is where my problems start and end. They don't seem to speak the same language from time to time. I'll have Google tell me it can't adjust my thermostat, because "it is in eco mode", as it's changing my thermostat. Which just tells me Google doesn't know what it's doing. Then there is coming home to a very cold house because the preheating isn't working. Supposed to work off my location and after telling Google we are heading home, it's supposed to up the heat when we are about 15 minutes away. Nope. So I scheduled the stat to do it automatically. No different than my old programable stat. For the price I paid I expected more. I'll go back to fiddling with it to make sure I'm not the dumb one in the equation. I also go back to a normal schedule so maybe things will settle down.

We have installed these in a few of our rentals. It has saved us money every month since we bought them. Takes a while to figure it all out but very handy once you do!

Had some problems with the installation. The instructions could be a little better. However, after that, it has been working flawlessly.
