Easy to install, user friendly. Would absolutely recommend

Really wanted to give this 4.5 stars as this was a replacement for the original purchased less than 2 years ago. This time I bought the protection. That being said, it’s a great thermostat for the environmentally and financially conscious people.

Great product. I was skeptical at first but in the first three weeks it shows my estimated electric bill has already dropped $40. I love the geo fencing feature so it automatically adjusts the ac for me when i leave my neighborhood.

its a little tricky to set up, but no more than any other thermostat. Once its set up its awesome, love the smart functions.

I had an issue setting up one of the thermostats but tech-support was incredibly helpful, trying all solutions over a span of several days. It turned out my condenser coil was leaking and therefore not cooling, which of course was not a Nest issue.

This has helped me to manage the climate control in my house quite easily. It took a little getting used to, but now it is a part of my daily routine. Definitely an improvement on my prior thermostat.

To start, Review is 1 star because 24/7 support is not 24/7. Still waiting on a call back and email response. Phone call disconnected after being on hold for 25 minutes. Now, as for Nest, it truly was quick and easy install. My issue was a blown 3A fuse in my HVAC system giving a E74 fault code for no power. The Nest data had me doing all kinds of steps to resolve before saying I needed to contact support. Well, house dropped to 56 degrees over night so I couldn’t wait. Busted out my HVAC manual to decipher an LED status code on unit which directed me to a fuse blown. Replaced fuse for $3 myself and Nest working great with Alexa and Siri across all my devices. Bottom line, unit is great, works well, looks nice on wall. I’d recommend it. If you ever need support, hopefully you’ll have better luck. It isn’t 24/7 unless they count the application with troubleshooting steps as “support”

Simple install. Easy use. Aesthetically pleasing. Use this to change out a thermostat that was installed when the house was first built in 1980s. Best minor change to simplify my life.

I have contemplated purchasing these thermostats for my home for about 2 or 3 years. Now that I purchased 2, I ask myself, "why did I wait so long?" Honestly, the price is why I waited so long, but now that I have them I love them and truly feel like they will end up paying for themselves in the long run (through saved energy cost).
