This is a great thermostat and it saves you money!

I bought two of these for my house one upstairs and one down stairs. They work well together and using the app I can adjust as needed and see my energy use. Super easy to install

Install was very easy for my normal residential system. Setup was nice and intuitive. The app is also very nice. I read reviews before buying this unit and read some folks were having issues with Alexa integration. I have not had any issues with Alexa operating the system with the exception of if the unit is set to "off" Alexa can't change the mode to heat or cool. Same problem when nest is set to both heat & cool. When the system is on and set to only heat or cool, Alexa works fine. All in all, so far (I've only had it for about 3 weeks) the Nest is very nice. The only complaint I'd have is it's a little expensive. I had a lot of Best Buy bucks to off set the cost a little.

The display on this generation thermostat is much bigger than the 2nd one. Overall worth the money for sure. I def recommend this thermostat over any other smart thermostat. We have it connected to our wink hub.

I live in Phoenix Arizona where in the summertime it gets hotter than the surface of the sun. Before the nest my electric bill was over 250 dollars a month. After the nest it was around 120 dollars. This thing has been a money saver that I wish I would have bought sooner. The app is very user friendly as well.

We have a new 2 story house and I hate going up the stairs to adjust the thermostat. Now having 2 thermostats, we can control the house via the app and have it learn out habits. Makes life much easier and we get to save time by not climbing unnecessary steps.

This is well worth the money. Most Gas companys will offer you a rebate for buying this product. Even if youre buying at full price its well worth it. My first bill using the Nest was noticeably lower. I find myself trying to be in the green mode which is only going to save me money. Do yourself a favor and buy one of these.
