The online information for set up and determining system compatibility was useful. It’s an easy install. I don’t like the mounting plate (needed so that I didn’t have to do a wall patch), as it is a different color than the decor I chose. It doesn’t have a “circulate” function like my old thermostat, but there are enough added features to compensate. (The green recommendations are nice.)The iOS app allows some additional customization.

The thermostat was installed, and then taken back out because it would not work with my furnace . When the worker was putting my thermostat back in, he touch the black and white wires together that destroy it. At this time I'm waiting for it to be repaired.

Easy to install, integrates with Nest fire detectors and looks great on the wall. Sophisticated software but easy to program.

I purchased the Nest Thermostat to replace an Ecobee that went bad. It was easy to install the wires since I was already familiar with what wires I have. My only improvement suggestion would be I wish Nest would let the body of thermostat click in or something to the base. I had trouble getting it to fit in. Since then then it has been great. App is also easy to use. I wish the setting of a weeksly schedule was more easy to customize. For those that are considering a Nest versus an Ecobee thermostat, I received a replacement Ecobee under their 3 year warranty (mine worked for about 30 months), I did not install it because their technical support was horrible.

Still experimenting with the nest unit. It seems to be high quality and well developed. I expect it to perform well.

Works with Alexa! I love that I can tell it to get cooler or warmer from any room and it just does it! It can tell when we're not home and adjusts the energy use of our unit - bonus!

Best one in it’s category, The standard in smart thermostat

I installed this thermostat and have had a amazing experience! We recently went on vacation and forgot the reset the thermostat causing out AC to run excessively. I was able to go into the app and change the temperature remotely! Saved a lot of money and frustration!

this was a great investment, the Nest works perfectly, even with older systems. Love the integration with Amazon Echo and the Nest app works great from my phone. Nest customer service is awesome, they helped me work through integration issues with an older heat and a/c system and an incompatible router issue.

My family absolutely loves this thermostat especially with the smart capabilities. It helped us lower our electricity bill with this first month.

We are very happy with this purchase. Very convenient to control from a smart phone with “Home” or “Away” feature and to change from heat to cool as well as adjusting temperature. Smart phone control is especially convenient when you leave the house in a hurry and forget to adjust the thermostat.

Really good looking gadget but once you install it on the wall...the cover that comes with the nest looks awkward..

If you are looking for an energy saver, this thermostat will help you get there. I tried the Ecobee but had better luck with the Nest. Glad I got to try them both before fully committing. The Nest has brought my power bill down about 12% and it pays for itself in 8 months for me!

This thermostat is the best purchase that I have made in a long time. I recently moved into a new place which was twice as big as big and with the use of the nest thermostat I was able to keep my electric bill very close to my old bill. This product keeps track of when we are home and away and adjusts accordingly.
