Very simple installation and setup, it's obviously more expensive than your standard thermostat but most energy companies will give you a rebate back for purchasing it to help with the cost. Combined with the cost savings it will give you on your energy bill it is a no brainer.

Very easy install and setting up. Had it in and going in 30 minutes. I have one on both my units.

One isn't enough. Three friends of mine bought theirs before me. Now I can easily lower my bills by having the nest go to eco mode when I'm not home, I can't be at two places at once. Airwaves sends out that extra free cold air, colder house, better comfort. I've installed two by myself. No problems since. I'm based on OS systems, nest keeps growing into HomeKit. Doesn't have room to room advantage like the ecobee. But I didn't review the ecobee after all right ? Nest is now paired to my hue system. If you are in the border, buy nest during holiday sales. Enjoy, cold air.

Easy to set up and use. The App lets you control from your phone. Has allot of features, including the weather. Plus you can get rebates from the Utility Companies.

This thermostat it great! The app is convenient and easy use. The home/away function and smart learning have saved a lot on my utility bill. It has paid for itself.

Adopted nest early on, skipped gen 2 upgrade but couldn't miss improved motion sensing feature in gen 3. This feature alone makes it worth an upgrade if you have nest 1 or 2 gen or if you're new to nest. Also now with nest 3 I can now control water heaters ..

I've been on the ledge about spending 250 on a thermostat, but it was one of the best purchases I could have made. Installation was a breeze, and there is always somebody on their website to answer your questions. The setup was straight forward and easy. From unboxing to running was only around 10 minutes. Then your options are unlimited on what you need it to do. I've setup a weekly schedule the reduce my energy output, and if something changes I have access to my Nest from my mobile app. Be sure to check with your local energy providers about discounts for this product before purchasing.

I have been very pleased with my Nest thermostat. It is accurate and responds well. My only issue with it is that if you are home, you must take care of walking in front of the thermostat or else it will go into an "away" mode and let Summer temperatures rise despite the fact that you are home. Still, it is a great device which may be controlled through your Nest phone application, which essentially becomes a remote control.

This thermostat is one slick piece of tech. The aesthetics on it are top notch, especially in the black. The farsight function is super useful and allows you to view the time, current temp, weather, et cetera, at a glance. The thermostat took 10 minutes to install. It can be used as a simple set and forget solution or can be used as a super customised solution. The main reason that I purchased it was to set temperature remotely, which works wonderfully and has saved me plenty of trips home just to set the thermostat due to a rapid change in weather and freezing temperatures.

Easy set up still learning about it but can see already where it will save us money

Dont know how i went so long without one. Setting the heat/cooling temps and forgetting it, or makong a small adjustment while laying in bed, the convienence is worth every penny.

already starting to see savings after the 1st month. just watch out for the kids, they like to adjust the temp just to see the blue or red colors but it has a nice lock feature as well so you can set the max and min temp when locked. adults like it, kids not so much.

There is very little assistance provided in the actual wiring setup of this device. I have a humidifier as part of my system. This thermostat will control the humidifier, but I had to rewire inside of the heater unit to make it work. I had to figure this out from YouTube not from Google's help.

It is one of the best purchases that I have ever made. My house is staying at a much steadier temperature and it feels like it. When we leave the house, the house actually cools down to save us money. It is so cool. Can't wait to see what else it will learn

After I installed a new A/C at home, I wanted update the thermostat and I found the best one, its beautiful, reliable and easy to use. Great product.

Easy to install. The display is large and easy to read. The functions are great. Easy to switch from Heat to Cool. I would recommend this product.

Having researched this for a while and finally made the decision to buy one, the Nest has proved to be just as simple, using and likely cost saving as promised. In just the few days / weeks, I can see the benefit on closely monitoring the settings and usage (gas fueled heat). The ability to both track and manage remotely via the Nest app is fantastic. The installation was quite simple, if you have just basic handyman skills, and did not require a pro. Once installation was complete, Nest was up and running within a couple of minutes as set up was a breeze. Strongly considering investing in a second one.

Overall, I like the wireless features but I don’t like the inability to change the swing value on the main thermostat. There is at least a two degree difference between the main unit and other temperature units in my home. I like the ability to use different sensors to put a room to keep it at whatever temperature I like.
