I love how it's compatible with the room temperature sensors. I also really like the different home screen options too, Definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

The updated thermostat feels like the house is getting better heat. It’s also pretty great to sit on the couch and adjust the temp from the phone!

And you do save a lot of money by using this. I really like the feature that it lights up when you enter the room.

But to be honest it's mostly on eco mode. When you change the temperature, the thermostat immediately responds.

Noticed a difference immediately when connected to our furnace... a lot less cycling on/off/on/off. More consistency with temperatures throughout day and night.

Also, I have had it switch to the away routine, even when I am home and I had my phone allowed to let nest be aware of it.
