I don't want to mess with those little tiny wires and mess up anything so I just have to wait for someone who has time.

The only thing I don’t like is there isn’t a hold option. You have to disable all the smart features to get it to hold a temp. That’s the only downside.

I love how you can set schedules for cooling and heating. As long as you download the app, you can control your home temp even while you’re away from home.

- Make sure your internet service is working.
- Check your app version. Make sure that you have the latest version of the Nest app
- Restart both your Nest Learning Thermostat. Restart your thermostat to refresh your connection. Once done, try to add it to your account in the app again.
- Restart your router and modem. Unplug your modem and router power cords. Wait for 30 seconds, then plug your modem and router back in.
- Check the settings on your Wi-Fi router or access point. Restrictive firewall security or parental control settings on your Wi-Fi router can sometimes block communication with Nest servers. Refer to your Wi-Fi router or access point documentation to learn how you can exempt the Nest thermostat from these restrictions.

Can set the temp via your iPhone but sometimes not working - don't know if it is the phone or the nest. A little expensive - got product one month only so don't know if it is saving some electric bill
