Great thermostat. Very Convenient app to manage the device form your cell and smart enough to save money in your bill.

I don't have the blue wire it needs for my home so I had to return it even though I did the test prior to buying it that showed it would work. It made my AC turn off and on within minutes all the time I had it connected. This kills the AC. I then called nest installers to come to find out that they do the same thing I did (followed the instructions) when it came to installing it, so I lost 100bucks there. Its unfortunate because it did look very sleek on the wall.

Great thermostat for those who like smart homes and like to save on energy.

I bought two of this for my 2 story home and been very happy ever since I control it with my phone and is very easy to use

Greatest invention. We bought 1st gen at other house & missed the convenience & energy efficiency so we had to get one for our new house.

Have one for our home and love it. We purchase this for our rental in Palm Springs to monitor usage for our renters remotely. Very satisfied.

The thermostat worked fine the first couple of weeks but now it keeps disconnecting from the Internet, telling me the battery is low when it is not, and telling me that the date and time are incorrect which they are not. No matter how many times I try to reset it or it tries to reset it self it’s still not connected to the Internet. It must be defective.

I needed another thermostat for the house (one on each floor), so I bought another Nest thanks to the Black Friday savings.

Loved the idea of remote control, but after 4 months stopped working. I would give it a ZERO if I could. I will not be buy any more Google hardware. Initially the NEST indicated low battery and started dropping WIFI. Several hours with horrible Google support troubleshooting. Many can't speak English well enough to spell your email address correctly. Even then, they can't make any decisions without putting you on hold while they contact their manager. CSR said my HVAC had an issue and recommended a tech to check it out. Well, thermostat from another system worked fine. Finally they agreed to send a replacement base, but it took 10 days to arrive. With replacement base, the A/C worked, surprise-surprise, but now it would NOT connect to WIFI router nor HOTSPOT, so it too is defective. Great idea, poor execution with support that is of no help. If you are willing to live without A/C or heat for a couple of weeks when your NEST stops working, go for it. If not, then stay away or at least keep your old thermostat handy because you will need it.

Love this device it really does save energy. No complaints at all.

Great smart thermostat, fairly easy to install and but easy to set up...can be a bit pricey so shop around.

I purchased two for each level of my home. It makes heating and cooling a lot easier with the app.

Nest is easy to use and it is nice to be able to adjust your thermostat away from home but I don't know if that is worth the costs. If Nest can give us more savings on our electric bill, then it may be worth the price but that remains to be seen

I really like the thermostats for a couple of reasons first the integration of mobile and home technology. The design is very sleek and they are very well-made. They have impressive customer support because I had an issue with a common wire not installed and they paid for an installer to come out and fix the issue so that I didn't have to return the item

It is nice to be able to see and interact with setting with your phone. Set up parameter on temperature.

Great product with a lot of convenience. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a smart thermostat.

Looks so much better than the usual thermostat. One step towards a smart home especially you can connect it with alexa. My husband said its easy to set up but he blew a fuse in our house, so i probably suggest getting a geek squad or some professional help to connect it. Nevertheless, we love it and its a great purchase.

Truly a great purchase. I no longer touch my thermostat and the Google Nest has saved me money on my power bill
