While most 24 V heating and cooling systems are compatible with Nest thermostats, there are some systems that aren’t compatible. The online Compatibility Checker has full instructions to check if your heating and cooling systems are compatible with Nest thermostats. You can set it in Vacation Mode and raise it then when your on your way home you can use the app and raise the temp or lower it depending what season you in.

By the time I stumbled out of bed at 5:15, it already had the house at 71, having dropped down to 60 overnight. I expected a lot from this device, and it has been meeting my expectations.

Installation was so easy that I installed both in 30Min. They work well and I like the eco mode better. Will have to wait and see how much my gas bills will be for next few months as winter gets peak.

Very nice finish, but automatic function are not well developed yet. Auto sense does not properly learn your habita depending its location. But really like it.

The Nest thermostat is easy to install and is easy to use. The app is great as well. And the new larger face seems huge at first but now I'm very glad for the upgrade. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
