The thermostat connects great. Good scheduling options. Rebate is available through Xcel Energy but then you lose some control of your home :(~ Eco uses movement in front of the stat. In my home layout I rarely walk in front of stat so it goes into Eco mode and lets the temp go out of scheduled setpoints since it doesn't know I am home...or you can set the home and away feature on a smart phone but then we are assuming we all have smart phones attached to us.

We have noticed a difference in our electric bill already and its only been under 2 months.

This is a great product. Have very good user interface and iPhone app.

This is a very nice device. I had thought that I would have buyers remorse but the device was well worth it.

I currently have this Nest and my budget billing has dropped 25 dollars from the previous year. I bought this for my parents for Christmas. Install was very easy, set up on phone the same. With Rebates it knocks off another 75$. Saves you money in the long haul. Mike

Love this thermostat! Being able to change the temp and other settings from my cell phone from wherever I am is a huge improvement over my old programmable one. Also like the geofencing feature that turns down the temp automatically when I’m away. A big thumbs up!

We like this product but the only drawback is that the home screen cannot be customized to show current temperature and programmed setting. It would also be nice to know the current weather conditions as well.

Does everything on the can. Also it gives you all the flexibility you need, especially when on the road.

I purchased for my IT loving son. He loves the ability to regulate the temperature in his new townhouse.
