I purchased this product for my new home. It is so easy to use, I have the app so I can change the temperature whenever I want to. The ECO mode is great for saving money.

My nest was working great and integrated with Alexa and all the bells and whistles, until my house stopped heating after a week of bitter cold. The Nest appeared to be working fine but would not turn on the heater. I thought something was wrong with the furnace and paid $100 for an emergency visit. Find out it was the guy's THIRD Nest of the day and that the cold weather is short circuiting the internal battery. I had to pay another $100 for a temporary thermostat so my house doesn't freeze and the Nest site says I will have to pay yet another $100 to install a common wire to fix what is their own design flaw. I've been on nest support for over an hour waiting to talk to someone. The site is terrible in communicating this flaw so unless I had not read about this in the news or had a furnace guy familiar with the issue, I would never have known.

Geofence is not showing us at home when we have been home for hours. Other than that, works like an over priced thermostat.

This is currently the best looking and working thermostat on the market. This is a great product that looks really nice in our home with brass finishes.

I like the fact that I can change the temp right out of bed or off the couch, jk that's not the only reason! It's helping us save money on our heating bill by turning on when needed. Love it!

Would be a 5 star but since they killed the works with nest it has definitely crippled this product. Outside of that....this is beast....I’m loving using this and the learning feature is amazing. Day by day it’s getting to a point where I don’t even have to adjust it!

Love the nest thermostat! It works well, and, when paired with Alexa, it is phenomenal!

Purchased to replace Honeywell smart thermostat because the Honeywell app had connection issues. It works okay. I find the thermostat doesn’t kick on until the temperature is 1 or 2 degrees above (in cooling mode) the desired temperature. Haven’t had the thermostat in cold months. The app seems to work better than the Honeywell app... so far.

Pretty cool but can't get the internet to connect. It does learn your habits do you don't have to schedule settings.

Best Thermostat out there! Have had this in all my houses and won’t use any other one!

Like it cause I can control from my phone. Downside is sometimes it has a mind of its own

Great product and be able to control the temperature even when not at home . The Eco settings is the best way to save money on your bills.

I was really looking forward to replacing my existing thermostat and loved everything about Nest. Never installed, will return and but different unit probably Ecobee . Nest support cannot determine if this is compatible with my home heat/ac system. Several attempts with support failed..called Nest Pro who was willing to help for a service call charge. No free estimate. Very disappointing.

Product is on the pricy side but well worth it!! You won’t regret it! I Recommend 100%!

Easy to program. Works well with my alexa. The install doesnt take a rocket scientist

Works great love the online controls... the only prob i have is the same as others have stated, it shows the set point not the actual room temp, there is no way to change it to do so. i dont care that much, but if this will annoy you then dont buy unless they have a software update to fix it. this is why i gave 3 stars.

Awesome! Got two of these and it is so convenient! I don't have to go upstairs anymore if i want to change the temperature of the AC or turn it off. Very nice sleek modern look too!

I bought 3 "nests" its great when ur not around and can use ur phone and it definitely saves some energy. My only complaint is that when the nest figures out ur schedule and when your schedule becomes different that particular day or so your heat will turn on automatically when you wouldnt or heat will turn off when u want it on.. U gotta check occasionally on your app to make sure the heat it ok!
