The only thing I don't like about it, is that it appears there is not a way to hold a temperature. It changes on it's own. It is probably to keep our bill lower, but sometimes we want to be able to leave it on one temperature.

I called the HVAC technician and he replaced a broken part in the outside unit which supposed to last longer. After replacing parts, the outside unit started making crank noises controlled by nest thermostat. Therefore, the technician recommended me to replace the nest thermostat as he experienced the same kind of issues with the nest thermostat in several homes. Based on his recommendation, I replaced the nest thermostat with Ecobee thermostat. Now, it's working just fine without any issues.
