Not clear yet how to use ECO mode. Sometimes is changing SET temperature by itself. Looking for more functionalities, such as, better protection code, better interface with another thermostat in the same house. Looking also for a better precision in temperature reading!

Great thermostat. Saved me over 120.00 the first year alone. Also th e 75.00 rebate from my electric utility was great.

The unit charges itself by cycling the a/c in pulses as to not start a full run of the a/c unit. This creates chaos for any dual zone system. You must have a C wire to charge the unit separately. Nest claims they have solutions for this but it’s hardly a solution. Don’t call the customer service number as they are not HVAC techs. Despite the set-up the unit works nice and as intended, do check for local incentives. I only gave it a one star review for the misleading claims of you don’t need a C wire.

Haven’t had it long enough to review the smart features.

Finally made my house a smart one. This is great one to start with. I've seen the results with my electric bills.

We are very pleased with our new Nest thermostat. It makes a difference in my power bill. Also, it was very easy to install.

Good thermostat, having the phone application and being able to control it when out of home for our pet is tremendous.

This is the second time I have bought Nest products. The functionality is great. And I like that they have different colors

The nest thermostat is such a great addition for a smart home. It remembers the temperature that you are most comfortable in.

We have several of these thermostats as we have a four zone system. Its convenient to have these smart thermostats so we can see the operation without having to go to each zone to see what they are set at. The seasonal eco setting is very helpful. Its like a reminder it's time to run the setup. Not sure how much we are actually saving because it just estimates each unit. Since each zone runs independent of each other, this system doesn't calculate how much they run together.

I bought one for my home and easily installed it myself and added cools bells and whistles for my smart home.

I love this thermostat! It programs itself after the first week and I can change it from my phone to turn on whenever I want!

Set up was a challenge but it is so great after it is set up.

Easy to install, and is a great 'learning' thermometer. Only wish app was a little quicker on response, takes a little time to connect. Would give it 4.5 stars if I could (only docking .5 due to the app)
