    We just moved into a new house which did not have a programmable thermostat. We bought this and installed it about 3 weeks ago, and so far I am impressed. And our energy bill was lower. I don't know if it has to do with the new house (though we do have more space in this home), or if this is just more efficient at keeping the temperature in the right place.

    Long-term quality is questionable. I had to purchase another one after about a year because it stopped switching from heat to cool.

    Best Buy sold this to me when the Ecobee needed hardwiring at my house. It was sold at full 4 days after it was no longer supported by Google & has done nothing but malfunction. It is under Google Nest warranty but no number or method of contact exists & now I am still paying for a thermostat that will not connect to WiFi & app. Just praying it does not go out completely with temps in the 20s right now …Best Buy should be ashamed
