    Loving the Nest. Most of these Smart Thermostats claim they can work without a C-wire by "power-stealing" but get a C-wire hooked up to it. It worked for a month or two and then kept giving us issues. C-wire (common wire that gives power to the thermostat- most smart thermostats use too much energy to be battery powered) is usually blue.

    Takes some getting used to but this unit is setting custom temps that will keep the house comfortable without having to adjust it ourselves.

    Because Nest is now owned by Google, installation is complicated. To add family members, they MUST have a Google account. This is ridiculous.

    Mostly easy to use. Only function I have issues with is having the temp stay at a steady temperature. It self adjusts.

    It's easy to use, and works perfectly, but should have got an Ecobee, especially with my multilevel house, the remote sensor would be clutch.
