Great product but has some serious power issues. If your WiFi is inconsistent it drains the battery and you come home to no thermostat and no way to power your ac. Needs some definite work in this area.

I know nothing about installing electrical stuff and this was so simple and great instructions and did it in 30 min. Unfortunately I ended up returning this because it seems to have a mind of its own. I read all trouble shooting called tech support (who were great) but the safety temp setting cannot be adjusted to a safety temp of my choice.my house got so cold I feared pipes would burst from freezing outside temperatures. Our furnace broke shortly after installing the Nest and had to get an HVAC guy out to fix it. I found another thermostat for $130 less, just as easy to install and has been much better in terms if use and has tighter temperature controls.

So far i have had the nest thermostat for about 2 months. I can say that i am pleased with the result. Im sure it will take sometime before it can learn my routine and start saving me money. But automative engineering is the way to go.

This is so helpful now when remembering to adjust the thermostat is just one more problem of ageing in place.

It’s worth. Using it for past 4 months and drastica change in electricity bill because I can monitor the usage.

I am currently not satisfied with the product. I purchased it at the end of June and installed it in July 3rd I think, and my electric bill has gone up more than 50% in June over the month of July and 45% more in month of August. I thought the first month might have been a learning curve, so I gave it another full month to see what would happen. I am uninstalling it and wanting to return it, however BestBuy says I am past my 45 day window and can't help me at all with an exchange or credit. So not only am I out $200+ dollars for the Unit, also out an extra $150+ for my energy bill. Needless to say , I am not a happy customer at all.

This is the essential smart home device. It also doubles as a night-light because it lights up when you walk past!

Great Thermostat, easy to install, and it came with a free google home mini, and it will save you a lot of money.

The idea of this nest, unfortunately I needed an electrician to come out and didn’t want to spend the money.

Mine went out after a year, and the customer service is pretty bad about resolving issues. I replaced it with a newer models last year and haven’t had a problem yet

We have a Nest thermostat in the house we r in now. We r moving so we bought one to go into our new home

It is awesome and I love that it learns my preferences afters some days of use and turns itself on automatically when I need it

I replaced an old thermostat with a Nest. I love how i can always monitor the temp in the house, whether I'm there or not!

Set is easy. It walks you through the whole process. Even taking pictures. Just be careful not to touch the wire tips together and you should be good to go.

I would buy this again. I like that one of the display choices is to see the weather outside as you walk by.

I love the functions. It's great to be able to access the unit even when I'm not home by using the mobile app.

I had the original nest, finally gave out on me, so it was a no-brainier when it came time to get a replacement.
