    Have 2 of them in our house; convenient in that you can adjust from your phone and fully program. Weirdly, we have been paying more for heating and cooling since we put them in but its likely just us.

    I have had the 2nd generation NEST for about three years now. I honestly cannot tell what is the difference between the 2nd generation and the 3rd generation. The profile is slightly slimmer but nothing noticeable other than that.
