    Got me self two of these and replaced my ‘dumb’ thermostat. I can control the heating and cooling from anywhere in the world which is a major advantage in itself. With a standard dumb thermostat, you’re limited to schedules and you can’t make real time updates except when you’re back home

    I don't see much difference between the 2nd and 3rd generation. Works well and convenient. I bought a second one and just bought the 2nd generation. Just as happy with it.
