    I owned a Nest 1st gen thermostat, this was useful for 5 years, and paif for itself fairly early on. Its also convenient as long as you're not fighting with it on whether or not you're home or not.

    Was resistant at first because I had a programmable thermostat but this goes way beyond. Has helped us reduce our energy by at least 10% even while working at home now 100% since last March. Great access from phone app and easily adjusted if needed. Learning took about 6mo to really understand our preferences. Should be interesting to see the changes after the pandemic.
