    After installing the Nest thermostat in the spring, I saw a sharp (and pleasant) decrease in the cooling cost portion of my electric usage this past summer. We also maintained our targeted level of cooling comfort as well. My recommendation is that one should utilize the advanced features of the thermostat and let it do the work so you can recoup the savings.
