Love the Nest

The learning option is awesome, it has learned when we like to turn the temp up and when we like it down so we don't have to remember to mess with it that much. Set up was very simple, use the App and it makes the set up very simple.

Got it all plugged in and it was hot on ac and cold on heat. Had someone from an AC company install. He hooked it up. Same thing. Check all wires. Called customer service. While very friendly and willing to help their suggestions did not fix it. Ended up getting frustrated and returning. Liked the interface and easy of setup. It just never quite worked.

I was led to believe that its effectiveness would extend beyond the house. Crew who installed it found it was a little difficult to get it paired to the phone. All is well that ended well.

A few months later I am impressed. Its all about the settings to make this work for you. Spend some time with it and make sure to turn some items on with your phone. My nest tracks me when I walk by it and uses my phone to know when I'm home. HUGE ENERGY SAVINGS
