It was not difficult to install but the programming confused me. Pay the extra and get someone to do it for you and explain how to use it from there.

Your Nest Thermostat has many settings to help you feel comfortable in your home. Hold temperature can maintain the current temperature or any of your presets. You can also set temperatures with a swipe of your thermostat’s touch bar. Nest Thermostats don’t have a touch screen. You can use the touch bar on the right side to control your thermostat. Swipe up to raise the temperature, swipe down to lower it, and tap to confirm. The display will show you how many minutes until your desired temperature is reached. Now having 2 thermostats, we can control the house via the app and have it learn out habits. Makes life much easier and we get to save time by not climbing unnecessary steps.

I don't know how many months it will take, but I expect it to pay for itself in electricity savings, especially in hot, hot So. Fla.

It does does everything for you so you don't even have to touch it. I can control it from my phone if I ever want to change anything. I can run the fan for timed increments if I want I can see the history of exactly when my heat pump ran and how long it ran.

I would turn the air up while at work and it made a huge difference. Plenty of ways to help you save money, and automate your house warming/cooling. Amazing thermostat and would say every house should have one.
