This thermostat is the best purchase that I have made in a long time. I recently moved into a new place which was twice as big as big and with the use of the nest thermostat I was able to keep my electric bill very close to my old bill. This product keeps track of when we are home and away and adjusts accordingly.

Overall it’s a good product. Easy to install and used. One issue is that the all takes a while to load every time that is opened. This may not be an issue for most. I already had another smart thermostat and with all the other issues it had, it would load in an instant when I wanted to change the temperature in the middle of the night (rather than waiting at least 20-30 seconds with this).

Great thermostat, bought in order to utilize the humidistat feature and to replace a Nest Thermostat E that did not have that feature. Would rank 5 stars if the relative humidity would adjust according to the outside temperature, but you have to keep an eye on it and monitor on your own it seems. Still, kept me from having to install a humidistat on my return, so all in all, worth it.

I bought this product on January 2024 and already stopped working. When contacted support not only I have to pay full price for a replacement, they did not guarantee that I would receive a new item. They will refund the money put on hold for the replacement. I choose this product thinking it had quality. At least my ecobee lasted a year. Is unacceptable that they don’t guarantee a replacement with a new item and on top of that that make you put on hold money for full price item. And off course I would have to be without AC until a received the replacement. Many inconvenience is causing me this product as customer

The online information for set up and determining system compatibility was useful. It’s an easy install. I don’t like the mounting plate (needed so that I didn’t have to do a wall patch), as it is a different color than the decor I chose. It doesn’t have a “circulate” function like my old thermostat, but there are enough added features to compensate. (The green recommendations are nice.)The iOS app allows some additional customization.

We are very happy with this purchase. Very convenient to control from a smart phone with “Home” or “Away” feature and to change from heat to cool as well as adjusting temperature. Smart phone control is especially convenient when you leave the house in a hurry and forget to adjust the thermostat.

Really good looking gadget but once you install it on the wall...the cover that comes with the nest looks awkward..

Upgraded the thermostats in my house and saved big money on each one, will also help me save money on electricity down the road

I absolutely love the Nest thermostat in my home. It was my first piece of home tech and its great! I love being able to control the thermostat with my phone and the new black color looks awesome!

I wasn;t sold on smart thermostats initially, but decided to try it out because PGE offered a rebate. I quickly realized I should have done this ages ago - super easy to use, and most importantly, saves me a ton on energy bills!

I can't get the location/home away from home to work no matter what I do. All other features work great.

Can't say enough good things about our NEST thermostat! We have two and it works like a charm. I love how it knows our schedule and there are plenty of times I come home and the temp is lower than I would have put it. I love the "eco-guide" to save money and it's definitely worked! Our bills have went down!

Relatively easy to install via the online support instructions. Can't tell if I'm saving any money yet- but my wife says our electricity bills are actually higher after getting the Nest. Nice to be able to control HVAC remotely. Bought this for my upstairs Zone to try first. Don't think I'll buy a second unit for downstairs. I bought this on sale and with the SCE rebate it was worth a try.

I recently decided to make my home into a smart home and after much research i ended up choosing nests for my thermostat and it works beautifully. looks nice as well. Worth every penny!

We were anticipating a positive result. However our thermostat was not wired properly for the installation. We left the next day for a trip and have not returned since. It will be mid-Feb. until we are able to deal with the situation. The Best Buy tech rep. was excellent in his explanation of the situation. Will return the product and start over.

I installed this thermostat and have had a amazing experience! We recently went on vacation and forgot the reset the thermostat causing out AC to run excessively. I was able to go into the app and change the temperature remotely! Saved a lot of money and frustration!

If you are looking for an energy saver, this thermostat will help you get there. I tried the Ecobee but had better luck with the Nest. Glad I got to try them both before fully committing. The Nest has brought my power bill down about 12% and it pays for itself in 8 months for me!

Its a love-hate with this. It does work, but it is a real pain to adjust all the time. It is not like a regular thermostat. It keeps going on "eco" which I do not have it set to do. So in my hot FL home I come home to stuffy. Or hot at night. Wish I had not bought it. But to change is going to cost me a lot from an electrician.

Love the nest. Recently moved into a house that has two ax units. This was an addition. The only issue I have having is that the software keeps setting me away on both units even though I am home, changed my address, and have all home/away assist features turned off. I had to turn the learning off as that was causing an issue. I’m sure just a small bug that will be resolved. Love them otherwise!

Although it takes “some getting used to,” being able to control temperatures while away from home is great!
