I would definitely recommend this over any other smart thermostat It knows when you leave the house and you can put it on the schedule as well and I love that you can buy additional sensors to sit as the master temperature to go off of

why are you living in the 90s and adjusting your thermostat like a caveman? Pick one of these up and do it on the fly from your phone or set it once and it'll know what temp you like. Plus you save energy!

Better temperature control, but after some time keeps setting by itself.

I really enjoy our nest thermostat. It learns as we adjust the temperature and connects to our Alexa. Overall I think it has helped save electricity. The change in the app recently was a bit annoying, however if you’re just purchasing this won’t be an issue!

I should have read more reviews. There are lots of things I like about this thermostat, although it comes up short; and I bought four for my home and am now committed! The biggest gap is that there is no HOLD TEMP feature. I had to turn off learning and delete schedules to use two of them like manual thermostats; a waste of money other than the ability to adjust from my phone. Next, I had a lot of set-up issues; multiple attempts per thermostat were required. Finally, the AWAY feature or Geofencing has yet to work. This was very important to me. I really like the Remote Sensor functionality, although already had a problem. After running fine for several days, one sensor disconnected from its thermostat. After much troubleshooting, I found that the sensor was fine and I had to reset the connected thermostat. The learning feature is nice, but without the other features I mentioned, it’s just another thermostat. I feel I could have spent less and received equal or superior results with another brand, such as the Honeywell T9.

We bought this thermostat for our vacation home in Florida. Our plan was to adjust the thermostat to a higher temp when we were not there and adjust it back down the day before we arrive at our home. Unfortunately, the thermostat has developed a schedule of adjusting our temperature that is not what we are looking for. I find myself adjusting it several times a week back to our desired temp. It is a little frustrating.

Works great with Alexa. Planned to buy one, but ended up buying tow since I have more than one unit.

It senses when you get home and turns up the heat. It also turns the heat down when you leave. Not too complicated

Really cool thermostat especially used with google home! It’s round so the plate you have to use to cover the square hole your old school thermostat it replaces is not so attractive but it’s a great product!

Set the temperature to where you are comfortable and the system takes over knowing when you are around or not and will lower and raise the temperature accordingly not allowing you to over heat or over cool for no reason at all.

great thermostat I am happy to report that the Nest Thermostat now has a number of options for the Farsight feature, including to display the current room temperature, which I wanted, and to display the weather outside (downloaded from the internet), which is very cool indeed!

It’s good for saving some money on electricity. Allows yoo to control the thermostat remotely .

I had been looking to get a smart thermostat for quite some time and finally decided on the Nest. Once I got everything hooked up, it took a little time to figure everything out, but now it's working without a hitch. One issue was that we did not have a common wire on the old, cheap thermostat. When it is very cold out, the voltage doesn't seem to pick up on the wiring setup. I'm planning to eventually have a common wire run so that the power voltage is constant and that SHOULD fix the issue. Otherwise, I love being able to make adjustments from my phone, whether away from home or even from my bed without getting up.

Been hooked up now several weeks and what a difference its already made. App control on smart phone is extremely nice and easy to use. Cant wait to see what it does for our bill!!

Makes it easier to control the house's temperature. One of the great thermostats out there.

We actually feel the Nest is very accurate.... more so than our last thermostat. We don't have to set our temp so low...74-76 rather than 72. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star is because it's almost too accurate.... we keep having to turn the temp up or down because it's either too cold or too hot. I hear this will eventually work its way out because it has a smart setting but it's the only con I'm seeing with this item.

The device was easy to install. Can turn heater or off from my phone.

We thought this would be more intuitive than it is. But, it seems to be working fine.

This Nest Learning Smart Thermostat was the best decision I made. It’s very easy to use, convenient and helps saves money and you can manage it via the Alexa app and on your phone app. I highly recommend this product.
