The Nest has definitely changed the way I view thermostats. Install wasn’t difficult, but I highly recommend taking a pic of current wiring before install. Once installed, the temp has remained constant and can’t wait to see the savings

I tried to figure out the wires from my old system and when I could not all I had to do was hit chat take a picture of my wires with my schematics and Nest Support was able to help me at 10 at night to email me where my wires had to go.

I'm just starting to learn how to use it. however I love the way it looks. it is very cute.

it's so easy to control the temperature with my phone, my controller is on the 1st floor, and i won't need to go downstairs to turn on and off any more. and i do feel it saved my energy, my bill is a lot less than my friend's home. and it looks a lot better!

Easy install. Takes a month to really know what your savings are. Monthly report are nice to have.

This is a wonderful addition to any home. I can control temp from anywhere via the app, and I connected it to Alexa so I can be super lazy and have her change the temp! Worth the price... check for energy rebate though, it saved me a good amount!

This Google thermostat is a great addition to the smart home setup. I’m sure you’ve read the pros and cons already so I’ll spare you. If you’re on the fence and already have a smart home setup this is the thermostat to get.

It works good, it could be better. The installation was very easy to do and I am not a DIY person.

This thermostat looks great and is very easy to install. Instructions are well written and the support staff helps you all the way through the setup proccess.

I bought this in 2016 and had it professionally installed to connect to our heat pump. In 2017 in the summer, it failed to pump out cold air and kept pumping out hot air. Nest (at the time) sent a technician and fixed it. In 2018, same problem, but this time they said the unit was defective and provided a replacement, great! In 2021, it's happened again, and google was only willing to troubleshoot online and isnt willing to send a technician or cover any costs. It's a very nice looking piece of junk. I bought another one in 2020 for another part of house thinking the issues were behind me. They werent.

Don’t be afraid to tackle this install yourself! My AC company want $400 plus $130 for install. That’s crazy! Bought at a discount of $200 and did it myself! Great features and glad I can change temps wherever I’m at! Great purchase!

Easy installation, instructions are great. The Nest starts learning your cooling needs and automatically adjust and learns when to raise and lower the temperature.

Returning it ASAP, I really wanted to like it, I wanted to make my home a google home but since the beginning it was just problem over problem, I did the installation process step by step but I had to call about 5 times the 800 hot line for support, for some reason I was told that my last resort was to buy a Google Nest Power Connector as extra part that supossably I needed, seems that I don't. So I call them to help me with the process of installation which they offer to do for me(THEY DID NOT) and what made me throw the towel was the fact that in the support hotline they asked me to call a technician who was gonna cost me another 130 dlls more, in total I wasted about a week trying to install it so I'm giving up I had such a terrible experience, don't be me there must be better options for you

LOTS OF OPTIONS. LOVE THE LOOK. USER FRIENDLY. SELF INSTALL OPTION IS QUICK AND EASY. YES ITS PRICEY UPFRONT BUT THE ENEGRY SAVINGS ARE GREATER.

I had to return it. I went through the pre screen to see if my unit was compatible and it seemed to be. I easily installed it but kept getting an error message. I called support and they couldn’t help. Turns out that its not compatible with American Standard duel transformers. It would only operate one fan.
