The Nest thermostat works very well for my home automation and energy monitoring. It was easy to install and easy to use. I am satisfied with the purchase.

Very pleased with this Nest. Especially since I do not have a "C" wire that's needed for so many other smart thermostats. I spoke to Nest help desk online BEFORE I made the purchase and they verified that it would work on my system. Easy install. Works great, it learns and functions via my Google Home assistants. No complaints at all.

Great product over all. Looks beautiful. Only problem was installation was a bit difficult. My advice, watch a few utube how To's, to be prepared. Supposedly 30 minutes to install but it took me a lot longer than that! After installation and downloading the nest app, was so easy. I'm glad I made the purchase.

Pros: - gives monthly reports of usage. - It knows when you are away (motion detection) and reduces the temp automatically to save power - easily connect to WIFI - Control your thermostat from anywhere - Fairly easy to install a C wire for charging. Cons: - cost - works best with a C wire for charging the battery. Some setups don't have an extra wire to be used for charging. This is the 2nd Nest Thermostat I purchased. I had to install a C wire for each Nest I installed because my setup did not have an extra wire and I live in an area that can get extremely cold in the winter. It was as simple as running a new 5 wire thermostat cable through the holes that already had my existing thermostat wiring. Then I found the C terminal on my furnace and attached the wiring to it.

The smart Google Nest thermometer sounds great! It's always important to have an easy-to-use thermostat that can adapt to your specific conditions and preferences. We bought a house and the current thermostat was from the 90’s. We decided on the Nest and were so thankful. Easy installation and easy to use. We received a free sensor with the purchase plus signed up for Duke-Energy energy saving during the summer and received a 75.00 gift card. Win win.

I’m very happy with my choice. It was easy to install once I looked up installing from YouTube. I think nest should create a digital instruction manual to go with their product. Product is easy to use overall set it and forget it essentially.

This unit was really easy to install following the included instructions and everything needed for the job was included in the kit. The design looks really great on our wall and the interface is so simple and intuitive it makes it easy to use. The data you can get from it about energy usage in the house is a real eye opener too.

Great upgrade and very easy to use! My previous thermostat required batteries to be changed even though there was a power wire, the installation was very straight forward

Good product, easy to install. This product fulfills our needs. We previously had an older version of NEST.

Set up an installation was easy. No need for professional install. The included instructions along with additional instructions on the Nest app have more than enough information to install on your own. The operation of the unit is fantastic as well. It is already learning our schedule and we have only been using it for a week.

We bought two of these for each of our a/c units and it works as promised. I like that I can regulate our system temperatures on my cell phone. You can set the temp for either heat or cooling, or pick a range between the two so the changeover is automatic.

This is a great product for those into everything in their home being smart. It's price but I got it for $175 on blackfriday. It's a product that helps make changing the temp in your house more convenient if your at work you can change it or in bed as long as you have your iPhone or smart device. Also looks really nice in the home.

An expensive little device that does go a long way in terms of simplifying the temperature issue around the house. The device learns your habits and adjusts accordingly which is neat. I have had this device for over two years and counting and yet to see any issues.

By far the best thermostat ever. I replaced mine from honeyvell to Google and installation was pretty simple and app setup was pretty simple. The best thing was the functions it gave and the amount of adjustments it offered. Just perfect in every way.

We love our Nest. The ability to adjust the AC away from home is great, especially when the summer sets in those 120 degree temps destroy our electrical bill. The smart features are ok, but our schedule is too variable right now for this to be very helpful (when on, the nest tries to predict your schedule and adjust the temp based on what you seem to like - this only works if say every Monday in your life is uniform - ours is not with 2 young kids, variable nap times, activities, etc). You can make your own schedules if you like as well. Set up was pretty easy. I like know tech fairly well, but I am no electrician. Nevertheless, an online video or 2 and we were up and running w/o having to spent 200 bucks on an electrician. If you like, you can have the nest sense when you are coming and going (using GPS on your phone). Nest has a nice program that has our cameras, nest protect (smoke detectors) and nest thermostat all in one place. This is nice, esp when on vacation and checking in on everything. Sometimes I wonder if an Ecobee 3 would be better with its individual room temp sensing technology but overall I like the nest ecosystem so I am happy with the purchase.

Awesome smart thermostat can beat the price And the functionality of this. You basically Control time/temperature from your phone. The best things is that it is constantly learning your lifestyle and program itself to fit your schedule

After moving in to our new place, I decided to upgrade our old thermostat to a new smart thermostat. I was debating between an Ecobee and a Google nest one. Ended up with the google nest because it is much simpler and much more elegant!
