I LOVE THE WAY IT REMEMBERS WHAT SETTINGS WE USE ALL THE TIME AND HOW IT TURNS ITSELF OFF AND WHEN WE WALK BY IT TURNS ITSELF ON.

Was told by Best Buy and Google this would work great with my new heater/AC and heat pump, the unit did work, it is just after installing it my power consumption went from around 1300kVA to over 5000kVA and bill went from an average of 140 a month to 550 per month. I called Google support when I received my first power bill and it was so high, they checked all the settings, had me change some things and said it should be good, next month it was even higher, called again, had me change some things and said it should be fine now. Got my next electrical bill, was the highest ever and most usage ever, called again, pretty disgruntled at this point as this device that was supposed to save energy and money had now costed me over 1200 dollars in electrical bills and insane usage, I spent 6 hours on chat with support after which they concluded it was running auxiliary heat and my heat pump at the same time and that it was not compatible....this after 3 months, obviously I wasn't happy. I thought ok well how do i return the device, this was the best part, sorry sir you can't return the device, completely ridiculous, I had a documented case going back to the first month, I was told it was compatible over and over and their decision is too bad. Needless to say, I'm done buying any Nest or Google products period.

I loveeee that we can lock it and no one is able to change the thermostat without the code

When I purchased this item best buy had it at a 50 buck discount, plus my gas company offered a 75 buck rebate so definitely worth it!!! This is a fantastic product and so easy to install! Up and running in 30 minutes if not less and I'm definitely not mr diy! Hopefully will save money but only had for a month.

My last one lasted 5 years. Here's to hoping this one works longer. I loved the nest and it was very easy to use.

Works excellent you can control your heat in your Air condition save a lot of energy

I got this item for a friend because he likes all the really cool features the thermostat has. I have one at my house, and it's easy to use. I can even manage the temperature from my google nest.

This a great product. Set on Eco, when I’m not home. The Nest will automatically change when I arrive.

This is a great product! Full control from anywhere, even when waking on a cold morning. Just reach for your phone to warm up house (if you dont already have it programmed, then it cares for itself). The great thing is you never have to worry about leaving heater on when going to work. turns itself off when you leave the house.
