Most people either love it and there are some who hate it. My experience has mostly been positive, but I docked it one star for the C-Wire stuff. I installed it as per the Video instructions and things went fine. I finally realized after a day that my Heating did not work anymore. My old Honeywell thermostat did not have a C wire connected, and I assumed my nest thermostat would not need it either. Unfortunately it did. Luckily for me the Blue C wire was available, just not connected. After connecting the Blue C wire, things have been fine, other than the Nest thermostat telling once in a while that there is a problem with my Furnace and that it shut down after 10 minutes. Looked up online and checked with few of my friends, its a common complaint from Nest thermostats. For the positives : An App, and the ability to control via voice assistants and remotely as well makes it well worth it.

We purchased two nest's for our home and couldn't be more pleased with how well they work. Very user friendly and easy to setup. Took maybe 5 minutes to install each one. The materials and design are top notch and the included base plate is appreciated. The "airwave" feature is pretty slick too! We had honeywell smart wifi thermostats before, which had a nice large touchscreen but the nest is in a different class even though it's similar in price. HIGHLY recommend!

This thermostat is a game changer. I can control the temp of my house from anywhere and scheduling is a breeze. The only issue I had with it was install. Instructions are clear for the most part but when wiring doesn’t match colors wise at that point it’s trial and error. I flipped the breaker as stated to the ac but my air handler still has power to the heat pump. Mistake on my part. Should’ve taken maybe twenty minutes to install but took almost an hour due to popping a fuse. The diagnostics that the nest will give you is bland so there’s a lot of back tracking if any issues come up.

Works perfect. Looks great. Happy to control the air handler through my phone. Eco mode allows to setup temperatures when the Air handler should work saving electricity.

Easy to install. They give you very straightforward directions so you can install it yourself. I've never messed with a thermostat before and installed it myself in about 20 minutes. Features are obviously great, too. You can set an "eco" range for when you're out of the house. It will allow the temperature to drop to the minimum you set or rise to the maximum you set so that the air/heat isn't running constantly. It will then use the motion sensor and/or the location of your phone to know when to turn the air back on. Only thing I would add would be the ability to start heating or cooling the house before you get home, but it seems to only start once your phone reaches your house.

This thermostat is great, works with google home, great app integration, you can tune the ac on the go, so when you get home the house is just at the right temperature. Perfect for the Florida weather!

When 1st installed the nest Thermostat the temperature reading was 3-4 degrees off from every other thermostat/thermometer I had. I called Nest for assistance. The initial tech verified all the wiring was correct then referred me to tier 2. This tech verified all the settings in the thermostat and when he found nothing wrong there suggested we reset the thermostat and start over from scratch. Once we performed the reset and reprogrammed it the thermostat started reading within 1/2 degree of the thermometer I had hanging on wall next to the Nest. Both Technicians were very professional and helpful. The thermostat has been working flawlessly since. I love the way it learns the temperatures we want during the day and adjusts temp when we are gone for long periods of time

The Nest Thermostat is fantastic! I installed it myself, super easy. The nest is my first step to Home automation. This smart thermostat is amazing. The Nest app allows me to control the nest from anywhere. This is a must buy!

Installed this on my AC/Heating unit...was very easy to follow the instructions. I had no problems making it work.

The options on the thermostat are useful and very easy to follow. The installation was also easy. Helps save a lot of energy, especially when you're not home in the daytime.

This is a great thermostat and easy to install. The app works great!

This product is so easy to use. Works great on the application. We have seen a good difference in our bill, and we are helping stay green. Highly recommend Nest thermostat.

Nice to have. Isn’t something you have to have but is cool if you have it. Easy to install and the app is pretty cool and convenient. Is pretty expensive.

A decent product that fulfills my needs. Easy to install although it took a while to get my product.

I really like this thermostat so easy to use especially because you can control it with your phone and it tells you how many hours you used it

I purchased this and it has been really useful, we were able to monitor the usage of the AC, control during vacation, and even adjust the temperature when my in-laws were visiting while I wasn't home. I was so easy to install.

This thermostat has the look I was wanting in a smart thermostat and is easy to use. Check to see if your local power conpany is offering a rebate. Pick this up while it’s on sale for you and a relative or friend.

I’m not very tech savvy and rely on google and YouTube for a lot! The best was so easy to install and set up! I love that if I’m chilly I can kick the heat up with out having to run to the thermostat!

The thermostat works as promised and adds a little tech appeal to my living room. I’ve only been using it for a month now but it has started to learn my personal living habits and adjust itself appropriately.

My wife and I love the Nest Thermostats. Not having to turn up and down the heat during the winter has been a treat. Once the thermostat learns you're behaviors it's amazing not having to ever touch them again.
