    Very elegant looking, works with older models without a C wire. Alternatively, you can buy the $25 c-wire adapter from google. Overall a great purchase ! Works with HomeKit as well

    The Google Nest thermostat is very cool looking and I am sure I would have loved it if I could have used it. After buying it and planning the installation I found that it is not compatible with my system. I returned it to Best Buy for a refund and was told they have a 15 day return policy. ??? Who else has that short of a return policy especially on items that require installation? It isn't likely to find an installer in that time frame, so beware. Despite the item being in perfect sellable condition and the cash receipt, they would only give me store credit. That is the reason for 3 stars.

    It’s a good product. But there always its pros and cons. Like instance I don’t like the way of the locking of the device. But overall it’s a great product to use and have.

    We have own nests for a while now. We had it in our previous home (2nd generation) and the home before (1st generation). We just moved into our new home, bought the nest (4th generation), had it installed and noticed that the fan continued to run while not cooling the home down. We had professionals come out to figure out what was wrong. They ended up bypassing the thermostat to see that the ac was running correctly, but issue was the actual thermostat. We have a newer York ac and were told that this nest generation has been having issues since they came out. Please avoid! We eneded up replacing it with the Honeywell smart thermostat.

    Great products. My energy bills went down since I installed these two of thermostats in my house. I can control it anywhere even we were oversea.

    Better features than the previous Nest. It has a lot more smart and eco modes. As for the display, you cannot pick up the brightness as in the previous model, so the new feature of seeing the weather animation is not that bright on the screen. The brightness and how it pops out more on the wall are my dislikes.

    This thermostat is great! I had the original Nest thermostat and this is such an improvement. I have also used Ecobee thermostats, but those do not integrate well with the Google Home app if you use the auto mode.

    Looks techy. The setup was easy enough. The controls are simple and limited. The remote sensor works well and changes the fan profile.
