Installation was simple — just take a quick picture of your old wiring before removing it, and the app walks you through everything step by step.     It’s a nice looking thermostat. The extra sensor works well and was easy to setup. I had lots of difficultly setting it up to HomeKit, but I assume there was an update on the device since it eventually worked after multiple days of trying. Probably not worth the upgrade from the old nest thermostats, but worth it if you don’t have a nest thermostat. You have to use the google app to install it. It does not work with nest app.

    Got this for myself for Christmas. Installation was easy and set up was a breeze. Now I am able to turn my heat on and remotely. Have two level house and this was installed upstairs on my split system. Waiting to get second one for downstairs
