Installed this not far from our kitchen and only problem is that it goes off a lot when we’re cooking. Better to have it too sensitive than not sensitive enough though. I love that it sends a notification to our phone whenever there is a problem, and so worth the upgrade from a traditional smoke alarm.

Its very good, better than the average smoke detector !

I like how the smoke detects communicate. If you have smoke in the basement it will tell you through every alarm in the house and where the smoke is located.

I've got the Nest thermometer, and it's doing very well for making my house a comfortable home. Now my Nest Protect, also reassures me where ever I may be that my home is safe and secure!

I bought this as the smoke alarm in my house was beeping for no reason and I saw it fit to upgrade. So far I have loved the security I feel having the device in my house.

Not only does it pick up several types of fires, as well as carbon monoxide, but it also does the best job at alerting you of the danger.

Love the way this alerts you to smoke. No more hurting my birds' ears if it goes off because of cooking smoke or an oven spill. Will buy more to replace smoke detectors throughout my house.

The high tech smoke detector provides peace of mind. The understandable prompts ("smoke in ___") instead of just beeping is great.

The all battery version is super straightforward. It looks good and testing is done easily. Connects effortlessly. Caveat: also have wired version - not a fan (reasons). Good battery type.

This is a premium product in its category as there are many alternatives at lower price point BUT it does what the company says it will do and integrates easily with everything google

I’m a big believer in Nest....just replaced 11 of them in my main residence because the sensors expire after 7 years (?), but, ok!
