We wanted to add additional smoke detectors. We had already installed 2 of these and wanted more.

These are easy to install. I have an older home so easy way to get smokes to talk to each other.

Typical Best Buy service, delivered on time as ordered. Product is as described. Added two detector in rooms that the fire alarm system didn't go too. Using third sensor in hallway of main house so if the first two go off, we will be notified in the main house. Easy set up. I like the Nest app that notifies me remotely if a detector goes off.

This Nest - Protect 2nd Generation Smart Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarm - White is a great protection device. I recommend this to every home owner or renter.

Great product. I'm now feel much safer knowing that when i'm away that my family is protected. The night light motion sensor is also a great feature.

Quick to respond to even the smallest amount of smoke and it’s really loud, it also sets off your phone with the alarm

The Nest Protect was easy to install and setup. It is the most full-featured smoke alarm I was able to find on the market. I like that I am able to see its status through the app and also initiate tests. I also like that I am able to turn off the siren through the app rather than having to physically press a button on the alarm.

Works well, nice looking. The nest app can be a pain at times since Google took over.

I like the way a voice forewarns you that there's smoke in the air, and that the alarm will sound if the smoke gets any worse.

This is our second Nest protect. They'll are great. We love the green light confirmation. One negative is that the old base does not fit and the screw holes are in a totally different place. Did this made install less than ideal.

Excellent dual alarm. Easy setup. Works great with Nest App. Loud! Built in night light is excellent too!
