This is another great Nest product. Easy to install and easy to add to my Nest account and app. The nightlight option is also nice to have in the hall where it's located.

This is the best product I have ever purchased. Set up was so easy and I love the notifications sent to my phone. I will definlatley be buying more nest products so I can link then all together. It's a great peace of mind for when your not home now that if smoke is detected you will get an alert.

Integrates great with phone app to ensure you can monitor your alarm along with other Nest products right at your hand. Illuminates in the dark through motion sensors to aid you in your pathway. Very easy to set up and collaborate with multiple Nest smoke detectors.

These are great but I've gotten false alarms of smoke detected and I've taken then down and blown dust off of them so be forwarned look online it's very common

I would rate the product’s performance as excellent but I give Google Support a failing grade on supporting their product. I bought two of these and for five months everything worked as expected. One of the devices started “chirping” just like the old ones with low batteries. Short version is that the sensor went bad. Google has promised me for two months that they would send me a pre-paid shipping label so I could return the defective one for a replacement. Call after call the CSR assured me I would receive an e-mail with the label within 24 hours. Nothing after two months. I have NO confidence that if I ever receive the label they will send the replacement. It just doesn’t seem that difficult to me. Too bad because the Nest Protect otherwise seems like a good product.

Fantastic smoke alarm. Also a comedian. When we sear something on the skillet and it smokes a bit, the alarm announces "THE ALARM WILL SOUND. IT WILL BE LOUD". Has become a running joke in our home.

This is a great smoke/CO alarm that gives me great peace of mind when away from home. I bought this because we live in an old house that we are fixing up and I’m sure the electrical work needs updated. Until we are able to accomplish that though, this gives me confidence to leave the house with my pets at home. It is very sensitive to smoke and warns you verbally before the alarm starts. Because of this, I would recommend mounting it across the room from your stove as the slightest amount of smoke will set it off (which I’m not mad about, but we had to move ours). My only complaint is that since Google and Nest have combined their endeavors, there is no longer an Apple Watch app for Nest. So I am able to get notifications on my phone from the Nest app but not on my watch.

This is a smoke and also a carbon Monoxide Alarm. Very easy to install and use. My family and my house is in good hand with it.

Awesome detector. Hopefully i'll never hear it go off but is great it will connect to me if i'm not home and it does.

I have two one upstairs and down and they are are great they work with my cell phone and work like a night light

It's working well so far, easy to set up and get mounted. I wanted to get alerts if it goes off when I'm not home so I can respond. I also like how it shows you whats going on with it unlike normal smoke alarms that just scream at you for no reason whatsoever. I like how you can get the "heads up" alerts rather than it just going off if you're cooking, and if you test it, it gives a countdown so you can step away and not get blasted in the face. It's one of those appliances you hope you never have to use, but it is nice to know what's going on rather than just stare at a blinking hockey puck and guess what's happening. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 as the app isn't necessarily that informative, it's easier to just push the button and it'll tell you it's status.
