Installed in less then 20 minutes. no false alarms,, vape set off alarm but only a warning and gave an all clear. works well..

Best Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Alarm I have ever owned. Easy install/setup and looks great. The path light is a great feature also.

Although it's on the pricier end it's been a good addition to the Nest devices. We can see the status of it for smoke/carbon monoxide via the app.

Easy to use. Night light is very useful. App also easy to set up.

Monitor was easily installed. Seemed to be well made. I haven’t had any issues with the item and it always shows the condition of the monitor on my Nest app.

Easy setup provides useful information about status of unit upon request and when setting up. Nite light works but must be dark in area for light to come on.

Seems like a good product. It was fairly simple to set up. I already had a Nest thermostat, so I didn't need to start from scratch. I easily added the alarm to my Nest app. I turned off the motion-detected light feature to preserve battery power.

Very easy to set up. I light the night light feature. Overall I hope it never sees much use, but it's there just in case!

I bought this and another for my parents. They aren’t very tech savvy, but adapted fast. First of all, IT’S A SMOKE DETETOR!! It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to figure it out. That’s the beauty of Nest products. They’re easy to figure out and understand when the alarm goes off. Whether it’s burnt toast or more, it’s intuitive. Bottom line, this is an important replacement for anyone, young or old. Previous smoke detectors did just that, but Nest goes further. They have integrated a CO alarm, and made it easy for anyone to use. I would recommend this product to everyone!

Easy to Use! You would almost forget it's there until it lights up each night. This is a good smart product but, you interactions will be somewhat limited. Hopefully, I forget it is there for the life of the product, but if not it will alert me in case of any emergencies. It was easy to install and software is very easy to navigate. This would make a great gift!

Works well. Replaced a first gen nest protect. Easy to install. Expensive for a smoke detector.

Went up easy and is great to be able to check that status any time from my iphone. Love the night light option and that your able to set how bright or not.

I purchases a few of these after I bought the thermostat, and I love how they interact together. The ability to improve the awareness of your thermostat through the Protects as well as the ability to turn off the furnace if smoke or CO is present is also great. My only issue is that there isnt the ability to change the range for the Pathlight (night light on motion sensor) which is roughly 20 feet. In a normal sized bedroom, any tossing and turning will trigger the light to come on. However, you can deactivate this feature for one or all of the protects, and you can change the intensity of the light as well.

This device gives you a good sense of comfort knowing it is a network smoke & c/o detector that can alert you if needed. Easy set up and nice night light function.

Ring is popular but Nest really has some great products that have amazing design and functionality.

I love these smoke detectors. They were a breeze to set up and linked right to my nest thermostat on the app. I really like these because thethey constantly check themselves to make sureeverything is working properly. Also, it's great to have if you have a pet at home. It will alert you right away if something is detected so you can get help right away. It also tells you exactly what room and what was detected. The units also talk you to communicate what is going on since they are all linked. Great buy!

Easy installation. Looks good. Works good. I definitely recommend.It can be pricey since smoke alarm detectors should be replaced after 7-10 years.
