Love the Wi-Fi. Works as intended. Would buy again

Works great. Easy to setup. Not too sensitive that a little cooking smoke would set it off. Looking to buy more to replace my other two detectors

I hard one battery nest smoke detector and recently added a second. The two sync with each on wifi. They both go off if either detects smoke or carbon monoxide. After 2 years had one real alarm (no real fire, just burned something in the kitchen). Wifi remote access provides alerts. We were remote when our neice burned something in the kitchen and we Knew within minutes via text. Both my wife and I are setup to get alerts. One time we were there and the alarm went off at 4am for no reason. But that was the only false alarm.

Love the peace of mind as well as the connectivity to the app. Have two now in our house. The night light is surprisingly useful and responsive.

So easy to install and set up. Amazing features. It has verbal prompts and can do it in different languages too.

I have 3 of these in my house. I recently replaced 2 that had reached their end of life (7 years). I know this because the device told me. This thing is amazing. You install it on the wall or ceiling connect it to the app and it does everything else: tells when there is a low battery when there is smoke in the house or when it's end of use which prior to owning this device I didn't even know was a thing.

I'm a volunteer firefighter who has smoke and carbon monoxide detectors throughout my home but was always afraid of not knowing if there was an emergency at he house. Was always worried about losing a very dear pet because no one would know of a situation at the house until it was too late. That's the void that the Nest protect fills. With the Nest being able to notify me on my phone of an alarm I can check my webcam to see what's going on and call the authorities and get home quickly. Was very easy to setup and install too. Looks great too.

This smoke alarm is very nice looking and appealing to the eye. I do like the voice guiding you through everything. Setup and install was a snap, no issues connecting to wifi or Nest app to link with my Nest Thermostat. I know it's just a smoke alarm and CO detector, but it is really nice. The nightlight feature is very handy for my home, since the smoke alarm is in the hallway on the way to the restroom, no more turning on the light.

My home had separate devices for monitoring smoke and carbon monoxide. Now I have one device. Easy to install. Looks great.

These are great alarms. Very solid, dependable, integrate well with other Nest Protect alarms in a large house. Note that I actually wanted the wired version, but they've been sold out for months, it's not clear if the wired version is coming back. Delivery (when it shown) is currently May of 2025.

I was surprised how easy it was to instal, I bought a few to put up all over my home and was able to setup and install each in under 15 minutes. The integration with nest is the biggest selling point here I think. Its great being able to silence the alarm from my phone when I'm cooking something that emits a lot of smoke. It's also very nice to get a warning a bit before it begins to sound the smoke alarm.

This smoke alarm looks good where ever you put it. It's really easy to put up just make sure you connect it to your wifi before you put it up.

Bought several nest items and love them all. Work great together and all in 1 app. So convenient!!

I love my Nest smoke/CO detector! Easy install, easy to recharge the battery (USB port). Plus, Nest app is great!

Easy set up , night light is just enough light. Like how it auto test every month! Want to get another for our downstairs family room
