This is a great product and very easy to set up and install. Within about 15 minutes it was installed, tested and working. Very easy to see what's happening on the app, run tests and feel secure. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Just installed this and was easy to set up and connect to the home network. I already have multiple Nest/Google products in the home so was able to connect this seamlessly through the apps.

I work as a fire firefighter and I purchased these and am very impressed. Really like the fact it acts as a motion activated light when option is enabled. Also the silence option for times when you burn toast and alarm goes off. Easy set up. The app shows you which head was activated.

The warning siren is very loud. Don’t see sleeping through that. It also lights up my hall way when I walk past it at night. A nice feature. I like having a Fire/Co2 detector in one.

Ability to quickly silence is great! Notifications on mobile device, provide a sense of security.

Works great, easy to install. Gives me peace of mind when our son is home alone. 2 days after installing butter dripped in the bottom of the oven and was a little smoky. The Nest detector alerted but our hard wired smoke detectors did not, made my really happy we have these in our homeniw!

This is an awesome option. I'm a nerd about smart home devices, but super picky about the ones I choose. Very glad to have this - and bought another after our initial instal (now have one in the kiddo's room and one in the master bedroom...with at least one more to be added in the kitchen)

After installed we kind forgot it was there until you see the night light turn on for you automatically when needed the most. It hasn’t gone off which is great but is ready when it needs to be

Been getting false reads on smoke detection for months now. Love having the ability to quickly and accurately dissect what is happening if/when the sensor goes off!

I got this to add a smoke detector to my living room and kitchen area after we had a leak in Carbon Monoxide from our gas fireplace. The installation was very easy, pairing with my network was very easy, and the features are amazing. This is a perfect product to keep you and your family safe!

Super easy to set up and mount to wall. Has a nightlight feature when it’s dark and there’s motion in the room, subtle light which is nice. Easy install on phone app as well.

Love NEST products. I have this as an added layer of protection - the older devices didn't have WiFi but this one does. So far, I haven't had any connection issues. Unfortunately, I read Google is discontinuing NEST secure. That's a shame - the NEST products have the best AI at this price point IMO. Prefer Nest cams over Ring, but Ring has a new indoor Flying Drone security camera in the works - to fly around and check on areas in your home while you're away. That sounds cool; I'm surprised that google didn't come up with it first. I hope Google stays competitive with smart home security because I think it has the "smarter" smart products.

Very please with this product. I bought 2 of these smoke/carbon dioxide detectors and so happy i did. Easy set up, they talk No blaring scream which was important for my dog. Get alerts via phone. Great product. Highly recommended!

Im the guy that always forgot to change the batteries in his smoke detector. Quite frankly I don't know how long the batteries in my old one were dead, but with the addition of a baby girl to our family I decided to make safety a bit more of a priority. Not only with i now get phone alerts when I need to replace the batteries in my smoke detectors, each talks to each other so if one alarm goes off in the house they all do. But its another feature that i didn't know about that really bumps this to the 5 star review. last week i was cooking up some bacon with breakfast and the kitchen got a little smoky, now normally with the traditional alarms you would have a terribly loud and annoying siren going off. The nest gave me a pleasant warning in the form of a woman voice that told me that smoke was detected in the kitchen and that the alarm would sound soon, giving me a chance to hit the button to silence it and then turn up the fan on the rage hood to help clear the smoke. all of the while the previously mention little one was sound asleep and not startled awake by and unnecessary alarm. in addition the the nest thermostat I have had for several years now, I plan on adding more nest product to my home.

This is a fantastic Smoke/Co2 Detector, a must have in any home. If you are already a Nest product user, this goes hand in hand with the other products used to monitor and protect your home. You cannot beat the mobile device notifications. Night light mode is awesome as well!

Early software versions aside, this has been a dependable and smart addition to my home. I have 3 and plan on adding one more. By far the heads-up warning is my favorite feature. Before an ear-screeching alarm goes off alerting you to how bad a cook you are, the Nest Protect alerts you in a pleasant voice that it has detected smoke and the alarm is about to go off if you don't cancel it.

Very easy to install and such a piece of mind when we need to leave our fur babies at home! So glad it’s battery operated as we could easily install without power! 100% recommended

Great product. Easy to install and set up. Provides peace of mind knowing you will alerted if smoke or carbon monoxide are detected. Bonus feature- light goes on when motion is detected near it.

It was super easy to install and i believe it works. Thankfully i havent had smoke or CO in the apt to test it.

Easy to install (how does Google find screws that don't need anchors but hold so well in drywall?) and does exactly what I bought it to do: warn me about smoke and Carbon Monoxide.
