The Nest protect is kinda pricey for a Smoke / CO2 detector, but it is worth every penny. These are simple to setup and install, problem free, and integrate with my Nest thermostat. The pathway lighting is great and it even runs periodic tests on it's own.

I now own 5 of these. I started out with one battery operated unit. Now I own one wired unit and four battery operated. Easy to install. Works great. All units work together to warn you when any unit senses something. Works with my Best thermostat.

Works Great. Has a cool night light feature. Is loud and is smart to work with the nest camera. It's just so darn expensive.

I bought the wireless Nest Smoke/Carbon Dioxide for my house and liked it so much that I purchased it for my family business as well . It was easy to install and setup . I love the fact that I get an alert on my phone if the alarm is activated .

This the 2nd one I’ll purchased. Connecting my nest smoke alarm was easy. The devices talks when testing and also it alerted my phone. I highly recommend this item.

The smoke/CO detector is great. It even says “goodnight” as it lights-up whenever the lights are turned off by. Illuminating a colored ring and then goes dark. The light is to reassure you that it’s working to protect you.

Quick and easy to install. I love that it lights up at night to help you see where you're going. It notifies you instantly when slight smoke is detected in the area and has a very loud alarm to wake you up if a fire occurs while you're sleeping.

This is a great product to have in any home. The setup is simple and if you combine this with IFTTT service you can do so much more in terms of functions. Great replacement when you want to swap out an outdated smoke and carbon monoxide detector.

Best product in market!! Can check from your phone. It has made our mind at ease knowing that we have nest to keep our family protected from carbon dioxide and fires.

They are pricey but they give added piece of mind with the smoke and carbon combo plus they all communicate together. So if smoke is in the kitchen it tells you on all detectors so you know where to go or not go.

I purchased this smart smoke/carbon monoxide detector for peace of mine. I feel better knowing my family is protected when at home and my house is protected when we're away. Setup was quick and easy. Testing is easy.

Very easy setup and connects right to the nest thermostat. My favorite part is its smoke and carbon monoxide all in one and allows for alerts to come right to your phone/smart device even when you aren't home. Have peace of mind even while you are away.

Carbon Monoxide detector was the motivator for this purchase. It was easy to install and run through the setup.

Very happy with these detectors. We started with two and are thinking of replacing more of our detectors with them. Set up was really easy. I loaded the Nest app on my phone and between the directions in the box and the guidance by the app it was done in a few minutes. My son likes that when he shuts off his light at night the ring glows green briefly to let him know all is good. I didn't like the idea of the auto testing so I shut that feature off but I have run a test manually using the Nest app and it was really easy...just stand near one of the Nest detectors and hit a button and the app tested both of them sequentially and reported back. I really like the idea that I can check the status of them remotely as well. We left our teenage sons home alone for a night and it was comforting to see that I could check on the status of the detectors remotely and know the house wasn't burning down and that I could run a check on them to be sure I wasn't getting a false 'all ok'. I like the fact that the ring will light up white to provide lighting in an emergency as one of them is in an interior hallway where if the power goes out it would be pitch black. We had an older detector in the hallway that also provided a light but it needed replacing and it is challenging to find a smoke + CO detector that will provide emergency lighting. The unit itself is surprisingly attractive. I didn't think we cared about that but as we were installing them it was a pleasant surprise

I love the versatility of a single device serving as the smoke and CO2 detector. It was easy to set up and even easier to monitor on my phone whether I am home or away. Definitely recommend!

We have many nest products and wanted to add this in as well. So far, we haven't had an incident but I love the ease of installation.
